Sobs wracked Cassidy's chest as she hid away in her childhood bedroom. The initial pain of the situation was bad enough, but now? Everyone had turned on her.
It was an awful feeling.
She'd read 'Jet Halton's' statement maybe a couple million times. And every time it got harder and harder for her to breath.
Cassidy was spiralling.
She didn't know if she was upset or seething with rage. For fuck sakes, she'd never even heard of the man when she was dating Pierce. They definitely weren't 'best mates'. Halton was probably just some scumbag her ex-boyfriend had met during one of his bar outings.
