SURPRISE

I think you guys will like this chapter... BUT I NEED YOU TO KEEP IN MIND I have never written anything like this before, so it might be shit SORRY.

I cringed writing this 🥲

After Taylor's show had finished Hank led Cassidy backstage, taking her to the singer's dressing room in an effort to stay hidden.

Once she got inside, she finally tore the itchy blonde wig off of her head as well as the red sunglasses, feeling a lot more like her usual brunette self.

She quickly fixed up her hair in the mirror as she waited (not very patiently) for her girlfriend who seemed to be taking her sweet time.

As soon as Taylor wrapped up the show she went on to thank all of her crew, dancers and team as she usually did, not wanting to be suspicious and make her surprise visitor noticed by anyone other than her.

However when her eyes met Hank's she quickly rushed over to him.

"So much for being sick, Hank," Taylor said, her arms folded over each other. "I thought you couldn't work today, you liar."

He immediately frowned. "Blame that on Cassidy not me! She forced me to lie," he sighed, not afraid to throw the brunette under the bus.

Taylor chuckled, showing that she wasn't even the slightest bit mad. She wasn't surprised the brunette had recruited their poor security team for her secret mission.

"Speaking of Cass... where is she?," Taylor asked whilst glancing around the room.

Hank pointed in the area of her dressing room, leading Taylor to nod and head in that direction. By that point she was practically running, ready to throw her arms around her girlfriend.

She quite literally slammed the door to her dressing room open making Cassidy shit herself. She let out a squeal in surprise.

Taylor slammed her into a hug, causing them both to flop backwards onto her couch. She pecked the girl's face all over, leaving marks from her lipstick.

Cassidy giggled as the kisses tickled her skin.

"Quit it, Kissy!," the brunette teased.

Taylor pecked her lips one last time before sitting up, pulling Cassidy up with her.

"I can't help it. I've missed you so freaking much!," Taylor admitted, "I can't believe you're here."

Cassidy hummed contently, wrapping her arms around the singers waist. She held her there as tight as humanly possibly never wanting to let he go.

"I missed you too, which is why I had to come earlier than planned," Cassidy explained.

Taylor brushed a hand through her girlfriend's hair, untangling it's brown waves. She couldn't help the sudden rush of concern that etched across her face.

"Aren't you still sick? You shouldn't have flown here, you need to rest," Taylor said sternly, putting her finger beneath the girl's chin so she'd look at her.

Cassidy chuckled, shaking her head softly, "I was never actually sick... I just had to hide the fact that I was flying here. I didn't want to ruin the surprise."

Taylor's mouth fell agape, smacking the brunette on the arm playfully. She couldn't believe Cassidy had lied. Better yet, she couldn't believe she had fallen for it! Cassidy was the worst liar.

Especially to Taylor. She could always tell when the brunette was hiding something. Except this time apparently, this was an exception.

"What!? Oh my god. You told me you couldn't walk!!! Do you know how worried I was?," Taylor exclaimed, pulling out her phone, "Look at my search history."
