It's me... hi, I'm back and alive SO SORRY about disappearing for a while, some unexpected shit came up but it's okay 🦔❤️ thank you for waiting.

I also apologise for this one being a bit short. I need to get back in routine!

"So," Jamie teased Taylor in a knowing voice, "How'd you sleep last night?"

Running water could be heard upstairs as Cassidy showered. She borrowed the bathroom in Jamie's childhood bedroom, desperate to wash away her hangover.

Taylor glared at the man, taking a large gulp of her coffee. She knew exactly what he was getting at and she planned on giving him absolutely none of it.

"Fine. Thanks for asking," Taylor said sarcastically. "Where's you're new lover?," she countered.

Jamie spat his coffee back into his cup. He raised both eyebrows at the blonde, leaning his full weight on the kitchen counter in front of him.

He looked around the room ensuring no one was able to hear that. 'No one' specifically being Noah.

Taylor looked at him with a smug expression. One that allowed Jamie to regain composure. He shook his head amusedly, mirroring the blonde's features.

Her smirk was wiped right off of her face when mocking laughter began to escape his chest.

"Don't sit there all smart and pretend you weren't jealous of him less than 24 hours ago!," Jamie teased, "Also I can't believe you actually say 'lover' in real life."

Taylor simply shrugged, tapping the side of her mug with the tip of her finger. Her smirk returned as she glanced over at the blonde man.

"That didn't answer my question," she remarked, bringing the drink up to her lips once again.

Jamie rolled his eyes, pulling out the bench stool beside her and taking a seat. The running water above them stopped as Cassidy could be heard stomping around upstairs.

"You barely answered mine!"

Taylor took another gulp of her coffee. She wasn't ashamed of the kiss with Cassidy but they hadn't talked about it yet. She didn't want to go around telling everyone and already ruin everything.

It wasn't her place. Even if Jamie was Cassidy's best friend.

Taylor shrugged, "There was nothing else to say. Get your mind out of the gutter."

Jamie chuckled, his lips pursing outwards as he put both of his index fingers up to them.

"It's just... there was a lot of jealous tension all night between you two and that's always hot! I wouldn't blame you if you—."

Taylor blocked her ears, immediately shaking her head. Thankfully, Noah entered the room, cutting Jamie's sentence off. She was able to hide the vibrant red that had appeared on her cheeks.

"I really don't need or want to hear the rest of that sentence," Noah joked, reaching for his car keys, "I already have a hangover, don't make me feel even more sick please."

Jamie's eyes practically bulged out of his head, immediately straightening his posture. Taylor had to hold in a chuckle. He was already smitten.

The blonde man hit the side of her leg with his arm, mouthing the word 'stop it!' when Noah wasn't looking. He could sense her amusement and he hated proving her point.

"Are you going home now?," Jamie asked, his voice cracking as he asked causing Taylor to snicker.

He immediately scrunched up his face. He already sounded desperate. He couldn't even keep his voice smooth. God. Taylor would give him shit for this later.
