Snape followed Narcissa into an empty room while she waited for him inside. "Close the door, I wouldn't want anyone to see us here," she said, ensuring no one saw them entering.

She nodded as she saw him close the door and watched him closely while Snape maintained the same gaze, she continued examining all his changes and new features.

"Have you looked enough?" he asked, breaking the silence, waiting for the girl to continue.

"You've become so coarse..." she complained a bit and turned her attention back with a more serious look. "I want to ask you something, but I need you to be honest with my question, Snape," she said, and although he didn't know what it was, Snape nodded.

Seeing this, she continued. "Are you with the death marketers?" she raised the question, even though Lucius had said no. Snape looked darker than before, so she had this doubt at the moment. Since if not one way, surely he could have entered through another family besides the Malfoys.

"No," he answered calmly. And the girl nodded, believing him.

"Tell me one more thing, Snape, what exactly are your plans? You know Lucius and your father want to take you to you-know-who..." she spoke oddly.

"I won't tell my plans to you," he said bluntly, "But I don't intend to join them, if that's what you want to hear. I don't like joining groups, especially this Voldemort fan club and his dogs," Snape remarked dryly.

Narcissa was going to speak, but stopped, shocked by what she heard, never imagining something like that even from this different Snape. "How can you speak so casually, if the great families hear this, nothing good will fall on you Snape. And you can't say the name of You-Know-Who," she said, looking at Snape as if a second head had sprouted on his neck.

"I don't know why you're afraid to say Voldemort, it's just a name of a magical terrorist...," Snape said.

She was even more shocked by that. "Aren't you afraid of him?" she asked, stunned.

"No, it's just a name, just a wizard more powerful than others, while these weaker ones follow him like dogs. You're engaged to Lucius, aren't you? You'll also be part of the little club," Snape almost mocked the girl as she trembled a bit.

"You know," she began, "I don't want to be part of this. In fact, that's why I wanted to talk to you," she admitted. "I wanted to know what you wanted, if you intended to join them, but it seems you're not even afraid to say the name of you-know-who," Snape shrugged hearing this.

"It's just a name, there's no reason to be afraid," he mocked again and looked at the girl hesitating. "You want to tell me one more thing, don't you?" he asked, and she nodded, a bit reluctant.

"I don't want to continue with this novice, Snape. I don't want to join a family tied to war," she admitted.

"Strange, I'm sure the Blacks are all aligned with the dark wizards," Snape spoke while she nodded with that, as it was true, but not everyone wanted to be involved in that kind of war.

"I know that contracted marriages are important in the nobility, but I want to avoid mine," she finally said.

"You know it's not such a simple thing, right?" he said, recognizing that some things were quite difficult to achieve in this world.

"That's true, I know my family won't accept this, but I have a plan. That's why I wanted to know if you were with Lucius or not, but I'm glad you're not," she spoke.
