Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

Lily was a bit intoxicated, but that didn't stop her from noticing her situation, in the middle of the Forbidden Forest, while Severus had just launched a fire attack on a large structure.

The flames quickly revealed some kind of dome made of webs and creatures like ants emerging from it. "This... he said this was an Acromantula nest..." As her mind cleared, she was even more shocked.

"Severus, what are you doing?!" She immediately screamed in the middle of the forest.

"Stay quiet!" Lily jumped as Snape suddenly appeared in front of her. "I have to set up protection for you, after all, I'm about to fight for hours." Severus said as he began moving his wand, creating a shield to camouflage the girl.

Lily just stood there, paralyzed as Snape did everything, until his gaze returned to her once he finished creating the barrier.

"You're safe here, don't leave and as I said, stay quiet and don't move, I'll take care of the rest. Take this as well, it will alert me if you need help." Snape said, handing her a pendant, something he had bought months ago from Lucinda's family shop.

Lily took it and looked at him somewhat cautiously. "You're planning to go in the middle and fight those things?!" They could hear the sounds of the enormous spiders screeching angrily with their nest catching fire.

"Yes... after all, I am a warrior." Severus said, and in the next moment, he disappeared, reappearing deep in the forest while the creatures were in a frenzy, turning from dozens into hundreds of them.

He appeared, planting his feet on the ground as he looked at all the giant spiders in the darkness, searching for what was causing the fire to burn.

"Let's use this..." Severus took a small potion from his pocket, placing it in his mouth and drinking it. His eyes began to change, gaining the ability to see through the darkness now.

He took another potion and drank it, his muscles seeming to swell a few millimeters, becoming stronger as well. Snape didn't stop there, putting two more potions in his mouth—one that would increase his speed and another to boost his body's energy, something he had been researching for a while. Since wizards weren't interested in making such potions, he had created them, but never thought of selling them since there was no demand.

Now feeling the bodily changes taking effect, he looked ahead, seeing all the details as the spiders circled the edge of the nest while the fire continued spreading, lighting up the Forbidden Forest on this night.

Snape accessed his inventory once more as a sword appeared in front of him. "It's not like Gryffindor's sword, without a doubt. But it will be enough for now. I still haven't been able to create my own..." He let some thoughts slip out loud, taking his stance, preparing his wand in the other hand, waiting patiently.

The giant spiders kept searching until one of them finally spotted Severus standing among the trees and let out a sound that made all the others turn in that direction.

"OHHHHHHHH!!!!" They quickly began charging toward Snape at that moment.

He didn't seem shaken as he watched them and prepared for the clash.

Lily could see many details from a distance with the help of the flames. "I can't believe what I'm seeing..." She murmured, quite scared and even fearing for Snape's life.
