Diagon Alley.

...

...

Snape walked while hiding his bag inside his black, hooded cloak, traversing the streets, which were not as crowded as Diagon Alley. There were far fewer people here, all wearing different hoods, hiding their faces like Snape as they moved about, entering and exiting shops.

Snape could see the shops built in a more discreet manner, but carrying quite expensive and hard-to-get products that were available here without any permission from the ministry, only requiring the right price, which was much more expensive.

Snape still had plenty of money due to earning 2,000 galleons from the last two baldness potions he sold to Professor Slughorn's friends.

He was thinking about selling his potions that he had created here, as soon as he discovered this place, where he could hide his identity. Although earning less money, he would gain security, as here they would not ask who created the potions or even how he obtained them.

Snape walked, noticing some hooded individuals looking at him as he continued down the streets, and headed for a shop that caught his interest due to the ingredients on display.

He entered the place, where a house-elf was cleaning. "Hm? A customer...?" The house-elf looked at Snape curiously.

"Are you the one who will serve me?" Snape raised an eyebrow at the creature, who quickly shook its head.

"No, Mr. Customer, my master will do that, but I need to know if you are here to buy something, before I notify him." The elf spoke, and Snape nodded.

"I'm interested in buying some ingredients and even selling some of my potions, can you call your master?" Snape asked as the elf simply snapped its fingers, then disappeared.

He reappeared while a person appeared behind him with a pop, an elderly man, looking at Snape cautiously. "You are too young to be here on business..." He spoke, not taking his analytical gaze off the boy.

"I want to sell some potions, do you want to look? I'm also interested in buying your ingredients." Snape said as the man looked at him for a few more seconds before nodding and heading to the counter.

"Place all the potions here, but let me warn you, don't try to deceive me. I deal with clever folks every day and I was once a potions master before my title was revoked by the ministry..." He spoke in a stern tone, this man had gotten involved with illegal activities and had chosen to live a hidden life here in the black market dealing with buying and selling ingredients and potions.

Snape nodded while filling the counter with his potions, potions for curing poisons, liquids that were filtered ingredients for more powerful potions, he even had potions for curing diseases and curses.

"Hm... this is really interesting..." The man said, looking at the first liquids, satisfied with the quality. He was curious to ask who created those potions for the young man with the hood, but he did not ask that question, due to it being quite unethical for that place.

After viewing more than 80 potions, he nodded satisfied, "I'll give you 3,000 galleons," he said. Snape thought for a bit; he knew these potions would generate a profit of four times that value, but he didn't have time to sell them in the coming months and could make more of them.

"Alright, I want some rare ingredients from your store like phoenix tears and dragon heart." Snape requested.

"Phoenix tears I might get, but dragon heart is not something we can just obtain; I haven't seen it for over ten years... you know how hard it is to kill a dragon, boy?" The man spoke with a stern tone, and Snape shrugged at that.
