Hogwarts.

Snape lingered by the lake for a while longer, until, seeing the night approaching, he finally returned to Hogwarts. He entered the castle as it grew dark.

Meanwhile, in a corner of Slytherin, Andromeda sat silently in front of the fireplace in the seventh-year common room, engrossed in a book. There were a few students who hadn't gone to the communal hall for their meal.

"Andromeda!" She was interrupted as she looked to the side and saw Bellatrix approaching with an unfriendly expression.

"Bela?" Andromeda was surprised to see her sister coming in that manner, seemingly upset about something.

"We need to talk!" she said, turning back to the students near the fireplace, all of whom looked cautiously at her.

"You, get out of here!" She commanded, and everyone immediately stood up regardless of age; no one wanted to go against this woman.

"What is it, Bela? Can't you see I'm studying?" Andromeda immediately complained.

"I want to understand some things, sister..." Bellatrix said.

"Speak..." Andromeda looked at her sister with a mocking face, assuming she would talk about blood purity and how they are superior to others.

"I heard some of our classmates joking that you were getting involved with a half-blood... what's his name?" she asked, not remembering, since Snape was such a minor existence that she barely cared to look at him, although she hadn't even encountered him this year yet.

"Who?" Andromeda was confused, as she wasn't involved with anyone, besides having flirted with a boy who ended up charmed.

"The half-blood from Slytherin!" Bela exclaimed, and Andromeda finally realized who it was.

"Snape?" She exclaimed in surprise. "What about him, you're not interested in him, are you?" Andromeda was almost horrified at the thought of Bela being interested in the same man she was flirting with.

Andromeda's question completely disconcerted Bela, who looked at her sister, dazed. "What are you implying, of course I'm not interested in a half-blood, you fool!" She shouted at her sister.

"Phew... that's a relief..." Andromeda said, ignoring the fact that her sister was so furious with that comment.

But Bellatrix saw this and seemed even more irritated with her. "You fool, don't try to dodge the subject!" She exclaimed, and Andromeda looked at her, but didn't seem the least bit bothered by her enraged sister.

"What do you want, Bellatrix, I like a boy, I don't care if he's a half-blood! It was love at first sight!" She spoke firmly, though making a love-struck face as she spoke of liking Snape.

Bellatrix was speechless, making a strange face at her sister's comment. "You can't be serious..." She murmured, growing angry.

"I don't care if you will be angry with me, Bela, as soon as he asks me out, we'll get to know each other and who knows... build a future together!" She said, placing her hand on her cheeks and making a maidenly expression.

"Andromeda... you know that if our grandmother heard this, you would be out of our house immediately..." Bellatrix spoke in a tone mixed with disbelief and anger.

"I don't care what you think... Now I'm leaving. Goodbye, Bela!" Andromeda simply walked away, turning her back on her sister as she continued on her way out, not caring about her sister standing there, enraged. Andromeda was not afraid of Bela, and she knew her elder sister wouldn't do anything to her.
