The marble signboard of 'Armstrong Mansion' clearly displays the name of the house. A beautiful white alloy gate opens and closes automatically, eliminating the need for someone from the house to come and open it, even if the distance between the house and the gate is considerable.
Nam gazes up at the large, classic-style house with its white tones, and she has always admired this house whenever she visits. The first time she came here was to speak with the owner of the house, in an attempt to persuade him to allow Becky to enter the entertainment industry.
Who would have thought that the beautiful woman she met in a department store and during a visit to a famous fast-food restaurant would turn out to be the daughter of a high ranking general, with her mother being an old aristocrat who had partnerships in numerous businesses?
It was surprising that they weren't strict with their daughter but instead allowed her to pursue what made her happy, granting her freedom. They had reminded Nam many times to take good care of their daughter and to ensure that she never felt uncomfortable or sad.
Becky Rebecca is an actress who is not affiliated with any company, yet she never faces any issues when it comes to sharing the benefits, unlike many independent actors.
Nam was summoned to meet with Becky's parents when they heard news about her relationship with the famous heroine 'Kimbly'. It made Nam feel tense and worried. However, they were simply asking about Becky's well-being and if she was doing alright.
"Good morning, General and Lady,"
Nam's sweet voice greets them as the servant girl leads her into the living room. On a holiday like this, she visits and meets with the owners of the house.
"Please have a seat and make yourself comfortable."
The general's majestic presence, even though he is dressed as if he had just returned from a game of golf, still manages to make Nam feel nervous.
"Did you call me here? Is there something wrong?"
"How is my daughter?"
The general's calm voice causes Nam, who is about to take a sip of orange juice, to stop immediately. She had intended to drink something to help alleviate her nervousness, but the general does not cooperate, as he seems to want to express his anger.
"Becky is fine and happy, sir."
"Is there any trouble at work?"
"No, sir. I don't take on many jobs for her. Becky is the one who decides whether to accept a job or not." Nam quickly explains to the general, addressing any concerns he may have had about her. Although she is the one who accepts job offers, she always consults with Becky and seeks her agreement.
"Good. If there's any problem, just let me know."
"Yes, sir."
"Nam, if Becky causes you any trouble, don't hesitate to tell me."
"Not at all, Miss. Becky is a very well-behaved child."
Nam's voice takes on a soft, ladylike tone, reminiscent of a character in a drama. When she first met Becky, she thought that she had inherited Ms. Jenny's personality. But as they got to know each other better, Nam realized that Becky actually shared many similarities with the general.
"Becky is still young. Please take care of her, Nam."
"Lady, Becky is no longer young. Let your daughter take responsibility for herself."
"Like when you persuaded her to study for a bachelor's degree abroad?"
"I have her best interests at heart. I don't want my child to be unable to take care of herself. Becky is happy studying and experiencing life there, isn't she?"
