"I'm going all out again," Today's the first day of my high school and the last year that I'll take.
All of us will be going to college soon. This would a big challenge for me to compete. My life has totally change ever since I met Yato and Yukine. At first, it was normal life for me, just hanging with my friends, staying home wandering around. Go shopping. Pick clothes each and everyday.
I wish I could tell my mom that I want to take martial arts instead of traditional hobbies. I mean it's not like I hate it. I rather be a fighter. And most of my friends find it unusual for me despite that I'm a girl.
'Closest fan martial art huh?' Repeating Ama-chan's words, I looked at myself on the mirror, seeing a new image of me.
I didn't expect my hair would flow smoothly down to my waist, barely noticed it. I grew a bit taller and slimmer. And my face looks the same, but a bit longer. But for overall, I still look the same.
I grabbed my brand new violet uniform on my closet and wore it as I rush back on to get a better look,
"You look pretty good."
A voice startled me a little as I glanced at Yato who was sitting up on my bed, "Yato." My cheeks fluttered,
"It suits you," he compliments.
I gave him a warm smile, "Thanks," glancing at my watch, I noticed Yato's been quiet lately. Bothered by it, I looked up at him, "Is something wrong?"
"Nothing, its just... You look...different."
"Is it bad?"
He raises his hands defensively, "No no, I didn't mean in that way," Yato ruffled his hair nervously, he looked away for me to not notice his blush, "It's a good difference, that's all." He admitted, "you've change somehow..." He lowered his voice but I heard it.
SlightIy hurt, I gave him a little chuckle, "I may have change but that doesn't mean I won't forget you guys okay?" I walked closer as I bent down in order to make contact with him, "There's no way I won't leave you. Starting right now, I'm going to visit you everyday, will that put you at ease?" I confessed, making Yato blushed intensely. '...hmm?' Realizing on what I said, I also blushed as well, 'Wha-what am I saying??' My heart rate sped up even I want to stop.
"I-It's not that I said that in a way since y-you have to fix my body and all." I stuttered while blushing,
"I am different than you and I will keep my promise."
"...Because I won't forget you."
I clear up my throat just to break the silence, "A-anyways, I should be -"
Yato got up from bed and head over to the window, he slid open it and leaped on the rail, "I wonder if that lie is actually true..."
"Ehh, what-?"
Hearing him muttered something, I was about to call him but jumped out, giving me a confused look on my face, "That's weird. What was that all about?"
"Hiyori. Time to go," my mom called out,
"Coming." I responded back. I head downstairs and went out as I start my new day on highschool. Little did I know, a dark figure was watching me from the bushes.
"Let me see you," I turned around so my mom could see my whole appearance, "You look lovely, darling." She said, I smiled, "I'll be going now." "Be careful," "I will. See ya."
I waved at my mother as I walked towards school. A perfect breeze for my first day. Birds are chirping, Sakura petals blowing dazzingly on the wind and kids wondering like normal day,
