The next day

I rubbed my eyes tiredly as I stared at the ceiling. Man, I didn't realize I fell asleep already.

When I sat up, I noticed that I'm still on my uniform.

I groaned. I placed my hand on my forehead, "It was only a dream."

A dream, don't think so.

I shook opened my eyes when I heard a voice inside my head.

I was startled but when I found out on who it was. Miss me?

Damn that pervert!

"Anon get outta my head would ya?"

Aww why? You were enjoying your peaceful sleep just now.

"Just get out!" I screamed as I waited for a few minutes for him to disappear which he did. I sighed in defeat. Great, I can't believe I was talking to myself.

Damn that idiot..

I got off my bed and walked towards the mirror. I looked at myself and it looks as if I haven't slept much for the past few days. Dark circles are starting to show a little under my eyes. And pimple spots began to appear as well.

I'm just glad its not a zit..yet.

I went inside the bathroom to take a bath. I dipped myself into the tub, relaxing my mind and body, as I sighed in exasperation.

I stared at the ceiling, "So it was real after all.". After a few hours, I got up and changed clothes.

I took out a blue jumper and a yellow plain shirt. I put on my white step-ins just to feel a bit comfortable.

I sat on a nearby bench, resting from all that walking. The wind had been gushing to my hair, making me feel at ease, for now. All I could do was just looked up at the cloudy skies. Watching as it slowly formed into grey. Mist began to form at the sky. A shallow morning. How weird can the weather get..?

At first, I thought it would rain but miraculously, it didn't. It's look like its about to cause of the grey clouds and it started to drizzle. I stayed in my spot for a few hours, not minding the change of the weather at all. Then I felt footsteps slowly emerging. I turned to see a young boy wearing a green parkour and large brown pants. I couldn't see who it was, but as the mist cleared up a bit, I smiled to see who it was.

"Yukine-kun." I spoke quietly, "Hiyori..How are you?" He began, his voice was a bit stumbled but somehow managed. I scoot over for him to sit, "What are you doing here?"

"I figure I could ask you the same thing." He casually shoved his hands into his pockets. It took me for awhile to answer. "I just needed some time to think..." "Think, huh.. Well don't even think too much." I simply chuckled.

"I'm sorry.." "For what..?" I slowly turned to him, lowering my head to see his expression. I could feel his grip inside of his pocket. "...never mind. Forget i--"

"Tell me." I placed my hand on his leg, letting him look at me straight in the eye. "Do you know something that I don't? Is there something you can't afford to tell me....?" He gazed upon my eyes. His face softened, feeling a bit guilty. "Yukine-k--" I felt a strong pair of arms around me. I widened my eyes slowly. "Yu...ki..ne..kun." "Please.." He pleaded as I listened to his words, "...try to remember."

I'm slowly trying to...

I tried to smile once more, "I'm okay Yukine. Really I am.."

Even just a little

"You don't have to hide it Hiyori." He said, tightening the grip. "I know you. It's okay to cry sometimes you know."

Suddenly, I returned his hug. He was a bit shocked at first since I felt his body stiffed. A sad smile slowly curved into my face, as he continue. "But you know it's not easy.." He slowly let go, looking deeply into my eyes, "...is what you're going to say. Am I right...?" He sure knows when to say the right words. He placed his hands on my shoulders with a serious expression.

Silence.

The mist began to fade as I looked at Yukine properly. He was...crying..?

He quickly wiped his tears with his sleeve. I stared at him, "Sorry. This isn't really like me at all."

"Yukine.." I briefly paused, "....you don't have to apologize for all of this. It's not your fault."

"Still...if only that stupid Yato didn't leave you, then none of this would've happened." He cursed under his breath.

I blinked when he mentioned his name again. As time passes, I can't stay like this any longer.

I want to know who I really am...

A/n: Sorry if this chapter sucks and a bit short XD. I got so busy in school as usual. And I don't have much free time to write another story. I know I'm slow in updating. And also I got tired and things were all tied up. Author-chan had mental block so sorry if this chapter is pretty suckish :p.

Plus the scene when Anon's voice was heard inside Hiyori's head, that was out of the blue.  I just put that randomly.  It was pretty cute and funny of Anon even though he returned back to his old self again.
