"Hiyori?" A voice called out.

Hiyori turned around to see Yato sitting on the branch of the Sakura tree, his hands were placed at the back of his head.

"Yato, what are you doing there?"

"I figured I could ask ya the same thing." He said with a serious expression on his face. "Weren't you supposed to head over to school?"

"I was...." She mumbled.

"So why didn't you go?" He asked like he doesn't care.

"W-well I..." She stammered as Yato was eyeing Hiyori's answer.

"Well what?" He repeated.

"Well it's none of your business..." She averted her gaze towards him.

"Aww you miss me." He teased her.

Hiyori's cheeks began to flutter.

"No, I don't."

"What other reason could you think besides from school?"

She huffed her breath, "Fine, I admit, I miss you." She confessed, her face began turning red when she said as her heart was pounding, much to Yato's embarrassment.

"Ne, Hiyori..." He whispered, ruffling his hair nervously. His face is still not facing her, still embarrassed.

Hiyori look up, "So who was your first kiss then?" Yato blurted it out.

Hiyori's cheeks grew madly red when he asked that out of the blue.

Why is he asking this all of a sudden... What is this feeling I'm sensing right now.... Then she thought, Don't tell me...does he know..

Hiyori stood in her spot, pounding nervously and confused of what she's going to say next.. She gulped silently, "I... don't have one... actually..." She said in a low voice.

Unfortunately Yato heard it, "LIAR!!"

Hiyori stuttered a little, "It's true.."

Yato jumped down and leaned on a tree as he crossed his arms. "Why do you have to know?"

"Didn't I tell you that if you have problems, you have to tell me."

She intertwined her fingers behind her back, trying to make her blush go away.

"I told you I don't have any. Why do you have to know everything?" She said harshly, biting her lower lip.

"Because I care about you..." A blush spread from his cheeks, "That's why."

Yato pulled something out from his pocket, "Then how is it this came out of the picture."

Hiyori's eyes shot wide opened when she saw her and Fujisaki together at Capyerland.

"That's only a picture. We were just hanging out."

"Without telling me??" He almost raised his voice.

"Well how am I supposed to know??" She defended, "They just dragged me along for fun, so why can't I?" Tears began to prickled down her pale face.

"Wha- eh--" Yato rubbed his neck.

As he adjusted his scarf, he slowly walked over to the sobbing Hiyori.

Hiyori dares not to make eye contact at Yato. She noticed his shadow at her feet when he stopped. Her heart won't stop beating when she saw his hand about to reach her, she raised her hand to slap him.

Without a second thought, he caught Hiyori's wrist and pulled her into an embrace. Hiyori was stunned by this and slowly struggled.

Burying her head into his chest, she muttered, "Let me go...."

"Not until you calmed down." He replied back.

She tried to pull away but he kept holding her tightly, "Hanase, Ya-Yato....Onegai..." Said a sobbing Hiyori. She clutched her fist onto his chest. "Bakamono!

"Hiyori..." He whispered softly on my ear making me my heart pound even more no matter how many times I wanted to stop.

Sakura petals scattered through the wind as it caress by our spot. Many petals fell down swiftly and gracefully as I couldn't tell what my heart tells me. Why am I so confused? Why is my heart beating so fast when he is near? Why won't my body listened to what am I saying....
