Hiyori POV

There has been things going on lately and pretty normal these days. For some reason, nothing happened much. But I got this weird feeling on my chest but can't put my finger to it.

All I remember was that I woke up this morning, I felt like I forgot something. Like someone who was always there.

I made my way towards my school. People greeted me hello and good morning. I did the same in return.

Someone who was always by my side.

"Oh good morning Hiyori!" Yama called out as she ran towards me. "Good morning too Yama." I waved back,

Someone who has been watching me.

"So what shall we do in this bright morning?" "Wow. You sure are in a good mood, finally someone avoided playing videogames for once."

"It wasn't like that Yama. Besides, I just slept and study that's pretty much it." I said to her, as she nods, being skeptical perhaps. "Ti hi, I bet you were thinking of someone aren't you?"
I blushed at what she said, "What? Yama, of course not!" I exclaimed, "Besides Tono is my one and only man. He is my idol!" "Yeah, yeah. But its always about Tono. Don't you have someone you really like? Someone close to our age?" She started asking.

I thought about it for a moment, Do I?

But why can't I remember?

Like someone's watching over me. But I can't sense that presence anymore. Like it was all a blank.

Meanwhile while we were walking, a shadow was forming beside a wall. I was able to caught a glimpse of it. But I decided to ignore it. I felt as if it had its eyes on me. Shrugging that feeling, I just simply walk away, without looking it back.

But not before I heard a voice coming from its lips.

"Hiyori!"

"Huh?" I jumped back to reality, "Weren't you listenin'?" "Umm..yeah, sorry." I scratched my head a little, "Oh so what did I just say?" She asked, placing a hand on her hip.

"Umm..." She sighed, "Geez Hiyori, don't daydream all the time." She tap my head lightly, "Hey you guys!" Ama joined in. "So what are we having later?" "Math." I responded as she groaned, "I hate Math." We all laughed as we went into our classroom.

-Timeskip-

"Man that was bo-------ring!!!" Yama whined, I let out a giggle, "Gee Hiyori, when you said you were studying you weren't kidding." "Yeah girl, my eyes were swooning like I'm in a mental hospital. What a terrible nightmare." Ama imagined herself while I giggled at her reaction, "How'd you do it?" "Well, it wasn't that hard actually."

"Oh come on, there must be someone who taught you. You made it to the top list." Yams said, "So what's your secret Hiyori Iki?" She placed her finger on her chin as she observes me, "Yams, don't exaggerate too much." I sweatdrop.

When we went out, we stopped at the sidewalk, waiting for the go signal. "I really wanna pass my quizzes but I kept on flunking them." "That's because you've been dating your boyfriend, that's what been distracting you."

"Ama don't say that." "Break him up!" "Nnnooooo." Yama began to exaggerate, "Hiyori you gotta help me. Pweaasseeeh!!" Her eyes are watery the moment I was about to say something.

"Okay okay I'll help you." I hesitated, "Really? Great thanks Hiyori." Her mood quickly change, "You're impossible." Ama replied, Yama ignored it.

As the traffic light hit green, we started walking. Following them from behind, I sensed someone who walked beside me. I stopped for a second then turned around to see no one's there. I shrugged it off, thinking maybe its just the wind.

"Oh, its Fujisaki-senpai." My legs tingled when Ama shouts his name. He was standing there along with his friends. He looked at me as I blushed like crazy and stormed off, heading towards the other direction, "Hiyori where are you going?"

I breathed heavily as I stopped in the middle of a bridge. Calm down Hiyori. Just calm down. I was alone. Gathering some air, my thoughts were interrupted when a young boy called my name. He was looking right at me, smiling.

Is he talking to me?

A short young boy with orange eyes. Blond hair.

Who is he?

He began mumbling some words that I couldn't understand. Confused, the words that came out of my mouth were only:

"Who are you?"
