It Started With A Kiss

Chapter 32: I shouldn't be this way...

The next day...

I woke up as I returned home. I couldn't forget of what happened. When I turned to my side, he wasn't there. He must've left.

Did he bring me home..? What happened afterwards.? My face felt dry. My eyes were dried up. Probably because of the tears. Was I crying in my sleep..?

I don't feel like moving at all on my bed. That moment when he showed up right in front of me, the moment he touched me, kissed my lips, and most of all...he asked me if I am ready to take the next level..

This is all so sudden..

I felt a heavy feeling on my chest. I let out some air that escaped from my nostrils. I stared at the ceiling, wondering.

He really did come back. But why did he disappear... for what reason? Is there something he doesn't want to tell me? The minute I remembered him appearing out of the shadows, I grew more and more curious. I wonder what really happened to him.

Yato..

"Am I ready to see you again? Or are you going to leave me like last time..?" I asked myself, drifted to my inner thoughts, thinking what made Yato came back. I couldn't help but feel something's up with him. But what..?

Then I smelled something that surrounded the room. It was my favorite smell that calmed me. I wanna drift myself back to sleep. It made me feel safe, embracing myself into his opening arms.

I got up, combed my hair then brushed my teeth. I wore a purple tank top with skinny jeans, a black vest and red sneakers.

I looked at the mirror once more before I took off. I tied my hair into a side ponytail as I'm on my way to Kofuku's place.

When I head there, I saw Kofuku, Daikoku and Yukine on the table, eating breakfast.

"Hi~~yooorinn~" Kofuku welcomed me into her tight embrace. "Morning Hiyori-chan." Daikoku greeted me while holding a cigar.

"Morning.". Kofuku rubbed her cheek against mine, happy to see me. "I can't believe it, you're already 16."

I let out a soft laugh. I glanced at Yukine and greeted me with a smile. He gave me a signal, telling me that he's there. I nodded quietly.

Daikoku noticed it. "Kofuku, I need your help with something." Kofuku simply let go and head to Daikoku. She gave me a wink, as I blushed. She must've read my mind. As she skipped merrily to their store, I smiled at Yukine. "He'll tell you everything." He said quietly. I raised an eyebrow curiously as I made my way upstairs.

Once I head up there, I heard a moan. I stopped for a second when I saw his body shifted. I couldn't help but giggle. He hasn't been sleeping much?

I tiptoed my way to him as I sat down and placed my palms onto my lap. I wonder what could have happened to you, Yato?

Where did you go?

Why did you disappear?

Why did you leave me when I needed you the most?
