Chapter 19 (Part 2): Falling beforehand

I stood there, frozen when that person appeared before my eyes. My eyes widened. He was the same one I saw last night.

"It can't be..."

"Yo." He flicked his finger, his light brown eyes staring at mine, reading my thoughts. His spiky green hair has been shown unlike before. He was wearing green from top to bottom. I guess he took a liking to green.

"What are you doing here?" My eyes were still widened at the same time, still shocked of his appearance.

"Hey, is that how you greet an old friend?" His smirked never leaves his face. There is something about this guy.

An old friend? I raised an eyebrow, "Don't get friendly with me! What is it you got guts to go back here in this world when you just showed up out of nowhere?!"
He kept on smirking me. Somehow this is getting irritated, "You are one interesting kid, aren't you?" He slid his hands into his pockets, "Though I must admit..you got potential."

"I don't know what are you talking about?" I defended myself. What is this guy trying to pull?

"Hmm...I want to explain but now is not the time for me to pull the strings." He said, as if he's trying to crack a joke or something.

"What are you-" "Yukine-kun, sorry to keep you waiting. The line's pretty long. More like forever." Kazuma came back with two cans of soda and a bag of food. "Guess what? There was a guy who was trying to-" Kazuma stopped talking when he looked up and saw me, startled at the moment.

"Yukine?" He called out. I quickly snapped out of it as I saw Kazuma, "Kazuma-san?"

"Are you alright? What are you doing standing there like that?" He sat down, as I returned to my seat. "Sorry there was this--" When I turned back to where I stood, he was no longer there.

That's weird. He was there a second ago. And also, what is he trying to say? He also appeared last night but he didn't say much. He just said my name. Unlike before, his aura is different but it's similar to Yato's.

"Yukine?" I snapped out again, "What's wrong with you today? I just left you for 15 minutes and now you've been spacing out." He started to open his can, "Did anything happen while I was gone?"

I can't lie to him again. So I said it all out including last night, "You sure he's the same one?" He inspected.

I let out a sigh, "I don't know. But that look on his face and his smell...it's the same as Yato."

"Do you think it has something to do with Yato?" He asked. I started to think but I couldn't. So I grabbed a bite on my hotdog for me to think.

"If he has connection with Yato then I'm going to find out."

Kazuma chuckled. "Well in that case, you better be careful. Who knows, if he is somehow connected to him, there's a possibility he is a god..."

"....or a human." I mumbled.

At the school rooftop (Hiyori's POV)

I can't stop thinking about the dream I had last night. It almost looked so real. Those words really hit me. Was I involved back then? If so, then why can I remember?

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I was startled at the moment when a voice spoke, "You sure are pretty jumpy." I turned around and saw a young guy, who is wearing a green striped vest and light colored brown pants. He looks a new student.

"You're Iki Hiyori, am I right?" The guy asked casually, his voice sounds teasing. I simply nodded.

"How do you know me?" I questioned the man, "Everyone knows you. I heard rumors about your debut. The This school is one stormy ass place one." A visible sweatdrop appeared on my head,
