Happy Birthday, Eddie!

Y/n POV

The group and I were walking through the jungle, trying to find the park and Darius opted to guide us there. We all walk through some long grass before going into a small clearing where we heard Ben suddenly yell which made us all scream as well while looking at him.

Ben: Sorry, stepped on a twig.

Darius: It's fine, Ben. We're all on edge.

Yaz: And lost.

Sammy: Yeah, we've been walking for a while now. Darius, we sure we're still headed towards the park?

Brooklyn: Well, we'd be sure if I still had my phone. Because it has a GPS, it has a compass app and is also a phone!

Yaz: Sammy didn't steal your phone! No one stole your phone. Can we please stop talking about the phone?

Ben: You guys! You guys, you guys, you guys, could you please yell at each other quieter?

Kenji: My fellow campers, chill! What we need here is someone who can make the hard call on what to do next. Since I'm obviously leadership material, I'll do this! And my first decree as leader is, for everyone to shut up and listen to Darius!

I look at Kenji very unimpressed while he whispered to Darius before standing up and backing toward us. I sigh before walking further into the jungle where I had to go through some long grass where I saw one of the fences in the distance and that's when I knew where we were.

Kenji: Whoa, whoa, whoa, where do you think you're going?

Y/n: Ahead, since you guys are having an existential crisis. I know the area we're in.

Yaz: So you only tell us that now?

I look at her before pointing at the metal fence in the distance.

Y/n: I literally just saw the fence. C'mon, we're by the Carnotaurus fence.

I walk through the long grass with the others and see the fence is torn and broken which was not a good sign at all.

Y/n: Well shit.

Darius: The broken torn down fence...?

Ben: That means Toro is out here with us.

Darius: Now we have to deal with the Indominus, the Indoraptor and Toro. Wait, how do you guys know about Toro?

Yaz: Kenji told us, like, the day after it happened.

Y/n: I was not aware of this what so ever.

Darius: The paddock is due north of the park so if we keep going this way, we'll hit the visitor center.

We all walk in that direction while Ben and Darius stay behind for a short while to talk but none of us really waited up. I look around the jungle and try make out where we'd be going but don't know where we are since everything looks the same which caused me to sigh at our current situation.

Yaz: Hey, you good?

Y/n: Sort of. I don't know how far it'll take for us to get to the innovation center and I don't know when we'll find an adult.

Brooklyn then pushes passed me and walked further ahead which prompted me to sigh in annoyance. I heard Darius talking to Kenji about the genetics lab while I just looked at Brooklyn storm off.

Y/n: And I'm pretty sure my moral boosting just brings everyone down further.

Yaz: Well, you're the best chance we've got to get outta here.

I smile just as everyone comes out of the bushes where we found a dead Ankylosaurus and a broken gyrosphere which was slammed against a tree. Just then, Y/n stood on his hind legs from the long grass infront of us making everyone freeze in fear.
