3rd POV
Mills was in his office, watching a screen that was showing the last boat leaving Isla Nublar with the last shipment of dinosaurs. He wasn't able to know how many species were on this shipment but he knew that it was enough. The phone on his desk went off and his personal assistant came through to contact him.
Assistant: *phone* Mr. Mills, your visitor's waiting.
Mills quickly rose to his feet and walked to the door of his office after putting the coat on his suit. He marched down the stairs and into the estate museum where a short man was standing, looking into a display of a Becklspinax, seeming to be disappointed and annoyed.
Mills: Mr. Eversol. It's a pleasure to meet you in person after all this time. How are you?
The man turned around and face Mills with a neutral glare but one that was awaiting an answer.
Eversol: Excuse me, where are the dinosaurs?
Mills: The dinosaurs are on their way.
Eversol: Oh so am I supposed to sell these ones?
He spits at Mills while motioning to the skeletons and the display dinosaurs that were within their casings.
Mills: You don't need to worry, ok? They will be here as fast as possible.
Eversol: I don't work with amateurs so I'm going to contact my buyers and call this off.
He said while taking a few feet forward and taking his phone out and dialing one of his buyers.
Mills: The assets will be here tomorrow, and your buyers won't be disappointed. Whatever their interest. All twenty species in perfect and healthy conditions including the only successful hybrid to exist. I estimate four to six million per species.
Eversol turned back to Mills while putting his phone down after one of the buyers put him on voicemail.
Eversol: Under ten is a slow Tuesday where I'm from. You're wasting my time.
Mills: You ever made over a hundred million on a Tuesday?
Eversol laughed, not taking Mills' question seriously and taking it more like a joke and mocking him for it.
Mills: All of that was in the past, Jurassic World, Isla Sorna, Isla Nublar, InGen, Mantah Corp, all of them. I want to show you what the future is bringing.
Eversol decided to humour Mills and gave him time to explain his reasonings and plans. He looked up from his phone and at Mills with an uninterested expression.
Eversol: I'll give you ten minutes.
Mills nodded and started walking forward with Eversol following, intending to use all ten of the minutes he was given to convince Eversol.
Mills: The purpose of selling the Isla Nublar assets is to fund our future projects here.
Mills and Eversol walked through the museum and to the other side where a keypad was mounted on the wall. Unknown to either of the men, Maisie was hidden behind one of the skeleton stands and watched Mills input the code, making a mental note of it.
Mills: We've renovated the old labs, upgraded the technology and imported the best geneticists from around the world. This project has been many years in the making, starting on Nublar and when the park went down, it was scrapped. But we managed to collect a piece of the original.
The wall opened into two doors, revealing an elevator so Mills and Eversol walked inside as it took them down into the subbasement. The elevator opened in the subbasement, allowing Mills and Eversol to walk to the door of a lab.
