Y/n POV

I was sitting up against the pole after being poisoned by the Scorpious and I found out Yaz had actually injected me with an antidote to save my life while the others were packing to get to the boat to get out of here, once and for all.

Y/n: Thank you, Yaz.

Yaz: You can thank me by not dying anymore.

Y/n: I'll try.

I try to push myself up but I get a sharp pain in my side and my left arm aching becomes much more painful and worse causing me to groan in pain.

Y/n: I think the venom weakened my body and made my nerves sensitive so I'm feeling the pain of that bullet again.

I try to stand but my legs give out under me but Yaz caught me and held me up. I slung my arm around her neck and she held it while also wrapping one arm around my torso to keep me up and just having her hold me gave me butterflies in my stomach, or maybe it was the poison draining from my system.

Brooklyn: Wait, where's Ben?

We all look around the camp and see he's not here which just causes me to groan in annoyance.

Y/n: For the love of god, that kid is going to get himself killed.

The group all walks out from the camp and into the jungle to try find Ben. Brooklyn and Sammy where carrying some bags with food and clothes while Kenji was carrying a full five liter jug of water on his back. We all walked through the jungle, calling Bens name but I was feeling extremely light headed and half of the groups conversation was drowned out by tinnitus. After a while, I saw everyone look in the opposite direction to Darius which confused me until I watched Darius take off into the jungle and that's what made me realize what the conversation was about.

Y/n: *groan* Whatever you guys were talking about, I say we leave that and come up with a plan.

Brooklyn: What do we do then?

Kenji: We go to the boat.

Sammy: We can't leave them!

Kenji: We won't. We'll wait for them for as long as we have to. Let's go.

Kenji, Brooklyn and Sammy begin walking ahead while Yaz and I slowly trek behind, and since I was really weak from the poison, my right arm gave out which caused me to nearly fall if it wasn't for Yaz's arm that was supporting me from my torso.

Y/n: Sorry.

Yaz: Don't be. Just lean on me and I'll keep you up. I'll make sure you won't fall.

She gently pulls me up and I lean my shoulder against hers and continued to walk with her behind the others. Brooklyn tried multiple times to contact Darius through the walkie but he didn't respond making her groan in annoyance. Kenji was kicking a rock infront of him and when he reached it again, he kicked it a second time and repeated the process while Yaz continued to support my body weight and also try help boost my mood by being strangely nice. I felt a strange rumbling in my stomach which was presumably the poison still working its way out of my system but when I looked up from the ground I saw the path we usually take to the boat was completely trampled, crushed and destroyed.

Y/n: God, why must today be so shitty?

Kenji: Everything's been smashed, knocked down or trampled.

Kenji paced around the destroyed path and kicked a rock which shook a tree that was above him and caused a branch to fall just short of hitting him in the head. I begin to feel light headed again but not as bad as last time.

Y/n: I need to sit down for a sec.

Yaz slowly lowered me onto a rock while I held my head. Once I sat down, Yaz knelt down to me, still having at least one hand on my shoulder but while I was adjusting myself, I had the same sharp pain in my liver again, presumably from the bullet.
