The Invasion

As the naval battle was going on and the GDC was gaining naval and air superiority, Gunship and landing divisions were preparing for the next battle.

The battle of the surface.

They began loading up both troops and heavy artillery as well as some armor and equipment.

Once that was all done, the plan was later laid out and all troops attended the meeting of how the invasion was going to go.

First, a small number of soldiers would land on the landing zones and would push out any enemy defenses while the main force gathers at the LZ.

Then once the landings are done, they would push through the city outskirts while capturing any villages and smaller strongholds throughout the area

And next they would barrage the city with artillery while laying the groundwork for an upcoming siege

And finally they would push through the city lines and the city center whilst battling any resistance they encountered.

The invasion Carried out in a small GDC bombing raid which would help with the landings and To also prevent casualties from the enemy air defenses.

The air defenses were tougher but with excellent results, the landing Zones could be safe for troops to land.

And soon, the troops began their landings.

The battle was about to begin.

GDC Pilot: All ships have reported in!

GDC Commander: All troops, head to your ships!
