I Think I've Seen This Film Before

Summary: Gracie Abrams had just won her first vma. When she's onstage to give her speech, Kanye tries to pull the same shit he did in 2009. This time though, Gracie has someone to help her.

I know realistically Taylor probably would've won this 'cause it's a fan voted award but we're just gonna go with it👍

"Now, I know you've gone to award shows before, but this is a little different." Taylor told Travis as they got in the car to head to the mtv awards.

"How so?" Travis asked, subconsciously placing a hand on her thigh.

"Well, people will probably be louder since you're with me. And more cameras will be flashing and it'll just be crazy. You sure you're ready for it?" Taylor asked, trying not to giggle at the accidental use of her song.

"Are you ready for it? Duh! Duh! Duh!" Travis sang, basically reading Taylor's mind and Taylor couldn't help but smile. "Haha. I'm being serious. Are you!"

"I'm ready, baby. Don't worry." Travis replied.

"Okay, just making sure." Taylor said, setting her head on his shoulder.

They didn't say anything the rest of the drive, just silently cuddling up next to each other but soon enough they arrived and had to get out.

Travis got out first and was met with the screaming of paparazzi and fans. He rushed over to the other side and opened the door for Taylor to get out.

The screams just intensified a lot when Taylor got out and he intertwined his fingers with hers, Taylor whispered to Travis that she was gonna take picture and sign stuff for fans so he let go of her hand. His plan was to just stand there and make sure nothing happens, even thought his security is there. But he did t expect people to start calling for him to sign things too.

A smile lit up his face as he walked over to the other side and started signing stuff as well. They were out there for maybe five to ten minutes before they were ushered inside to walk the carpet.

Taylor sighed when the next person stepped in the carpet, leaving Taylor and Travis to be the next person. "No matter how many times I do this, it's still nerve-wrecking." She muttered.

"I'm right with you, baby." Travis replied, gripping her hand tighter. "Promise to not drop my hand?" She asked.

"Promise." Travis replied and someone gestured them forward to step onto the carpet. Cameras started flashing like crazy while Taylor and Travis got into a position. Taylor set her hand on his chest and Travis gripped her waist.

At some point, Taylor turned her head towards Travis and gently leaned into give him a kiss. The second their lips touched, cameras went even crazier, trying to capture the exact moment all at the same time. Taylor and Travis chuckled into the kiss. After they removed their lips, Taylor turned her head forward and her breath caught in her throat when she saw a glimpse of someone walking by, Kanye?

"Are you okay?" Travis asked, noticing how she tensed up on his arm.

"Hm? Yeah, I'm fine." Taylor replied. Travis didn't really seem to believe that but he decided not to confront her in front of a bunch of people.

They finished up on the red carpet and walked through the doors to find their seats. They looked for their seats and saw that Taylor and Travis were next to each other(obviously) and sitting next to Travis was Jack Antonoff and sitting next to Taylor was Gracie Abram's.

Taylor hugged Jack Antonoff and talked to him for a few minutes until she saw Gracie coming over to find her seat.

"Gracie!" Taylor hugged her tightly. "Your first Vma's! You're growing up so quickly." Taylor pouted.
