I would like to apologize to TreePaine_stan13 for this one😭😭

Summary: Taylor and Tree get into an argument but it gets taken too far when Taylor ends up in tears. Travis is there to comfort her and do one thing he never thought he'd have the guts to do, stand up to Tree.

"Babe, are you sure? I don't wanna make anyone mad or anything." Travis said.

"It's fine, Trav. They'll understand. Not the first time I've done it." She shrugged. The current discussion they were having was about how Travis wants to come New York for a couple days before Taylor has to leave for her tour and Travis has to go Kansas City for preseason and stuff like that. Taylor wants to spend as much time as they could together so Taylor plans to cancel her meeting to spend time with him.

"Okay, if you're sure." Travis replied.

"I am." Taylor smirked. "When are you gonna be here?"

"Couple of hours, baby." Travis replied.

"Great. Hurry up. I miss you." Taylor huffed.

"If I could speed the plane up, I would. I sadly do not hold that power, though." Travis replied.

"Awe, too bad." Taylor pouted playfully. "Fine, but I plan for us to be spending the evening doing various activities in the bedroom so prepare!"

Travis smirked. "Oh, really?" He raised his eyebrow and Taylor nodded. "Yep. Just thought I'd give you a head's up."

"Well, I'll be waiting." Travis replied.

They continued to talk for a couple minutes before a knock came at Taylor started to get another call from Selena so they decided to just say goodbye.

"Bye, baby. See you in a few hours." Travis smiled softly.

"See you then! I'll pick you up at the airport. Well, one of my security guards will. I'm not risking anything. But see you!" She waved.

They hung up the phone and Taylor answered Selena's call and they talked for a while. A few hours later, Taylor was informed that her security was leaving to pick up Travis and she nodded.

After they left, Taylor just watched tv until around fifteen minutes later when someone knocked on the door. Taylor sighed and hopped off the couch to answer it.

"Hey, Taylor." Tree said when Taylor opened the door. "Hey, Tree. What's up?" Taylor asked.

"Just came to drop off a couple things while I was nearby." Tree replied and Taylor moved to the side to let her in.

"Alright, thanks." Taylor smiled, following Tree through the hallways to the kitchen.

"Ok, and the meeting is still set up for five pm, don't forget, okay." Tree said, setting the folders she brought in the kitchen counter.

"Oh, about that! I'm gonna have to cancel it for today." Taylor replied, biting her lip nervously.

"What? You can't be serious." Tree replied, turning around to face Taylor.

Taylor just nodded.

"You canceled the last meeting to and we won't be able to have one for months 'cause you're just about to go back on tour!" Tree scoffed.

"But Travis is stopping by for only the rest of today and tomorrow before I leave and he has to go back to preseason!" Taylor explained, although that wasn't gonna help anything.
