Summary: this is just a chapter showcasing all of Travis' family and friends finding out about "So High School" as well as Travis hearing it for the first time🤍

                                       Travis

"You knew what you wanted and boy you got her. Brand new, full throttle. You already know, babe. You already know, babe." Taylor sang softly, strumming her guitar to the tune. She took one last strum of her guitar and looked up to see Travis staring at her, smiling softly.

"Uhm." Taylor cleared her throat awkwardly, shifting under Travis' gaze. Taylor had been very nervous to tell Travis about the song she wrote. They never talked about it, so she didn't know if he'd be okay with it or not. "So, what do you think?"

Travis remained silent for a couple seconds before answering. "That was the sweetest thing anyone's ever said about me." He replied and Taylor felt herself blushing. She giggled lightly as Travis reached over to help her off the floor. She stood up and Travis opened his arms so she could climb into them.

"It was amazing, sweetie. I loved it." Travis gushed, kissing her forehead gently. "Thank you." Taylor flushed. "I wasn't sure if you would." She admitted.

"What? Why? It's so sweet and cute! I feel like I'm in highschool whenever I look at you too." He shrugged, curious as to why she didn't know if he'd like a sweet, cute song she wrote about him.

"I mean, I was thinking that you might not like some of the references of our personal life, preferably the Grand Theft Auto line." Taylor replied, setting her head on his chest.

"I loved that part! It was very high school esque." He replied. "I mean, obviously we have sex, look at you. I'm not ashamed of it or anything, it'll be fine." He calmed her, giving her another kiss on the forehead. "I also noticed the 'kiss, marry, kill' part." Travis chuckled. "That was good. I don't think I'll ever be able to understand how you can write in things like this so effortlessly. I am amazed every single day with your talent. How're you so good at everything? I'll need to make sure no one gives you a football 'cause I at least need to hold up my ego in something."

Taylor giggled. "Oh, I don't think you need to worry about that." She buried herself deeper into his arms. "I also wrote another one." She admitted.

"Really?" Travis asked, smiling brightly. "Yep." Taylor nodded. "So High School is gonna be on the Anthology part of the album. This other one is called The Alchemy and it's gonna be on the main album. I was planning on having it be a surprise for you, unless you want me to play it now? 'Cause I will if you wanna approve it first."

"Tay." Travis replied. "I don't need to approve anything. They're your songs that you made with your brilliant mind. I have no say in it, but I'm sure it will be just as amazing as this one! So I'm fine with it being a surprise." He smiled.

Taylor felt her face start to hurt from how largely she was smiling. "Okay, awesome." She rubbed a hand over his chest while they cuddled.

"Y'know." Travis spoke back up a couple of minutes later. "I hope you know that the 'Scouts honor' line didn't go unnoticed either." He smiled smugly.

Taylor chuckled. "Damn, didn't think you'd catch that."

"I mean, it's true though. Your fans probably won't pick up on it anyway, it's pretty discreet." He shrugged and Taylor almost cackled. "Ha! Oh, poor, innocent Travis, you must not know my fanbase at all."
