Basically the same thing as the other 'Tone Deaf' chapter but the roles switched👍

                                   .............

"Tay, I'm home!" Travis called out when he walked in the door.

"In the kitchen!" Taylor called back and Travis set his bag down by the door before heading to the kitchen to see his girl.

When he walked in, he was met with the smell of cinnamon rolls. "Mm, baby! You made more cinnamon rolls?" He questioned, referring to how he had brought a whole batch of cinnamon rolls to practice earlier.

"Yep! But these ones are just for us." Taylor replied.

Travis quickly walked forward and grabbed a cinnamon roll from the pan, quickly shoving a part in his mouth. "Mm, have I ever told you that you are the best thing to come into my life?" He groaned, taking another bite.

"Me? Or the cinnamon rolls?" Taylor asked with a chuckle.

"Both." Travis replied.

Taylor just watched as he quickly finished off the cinnamon roll and reached for another one.

"Hey!" Taylor slapped his hand away. "What was that for?" Travis asked, pouting.

"We can eat the rest in the living room." Taylor replied, picking up the pan and walking towards the living room.

Travis followed behind her like a lost puppy. Taylor set the pan of cinnamon rolls on the coffee table and plopped down on the couch, patting the spot next to her for Travis.

Travis sat down next to her and grabbed another cinnamon roll, throwing his arm around Taylor's shoulders and pulling her into his side.

"So, how was practice?" Taylor asked, opening her mouth so Travis could let her have a bit of the cinnamon roll.

"It was good." Travis replied. "Pretty normal. I fell towards the end of practice a little too hard and hit my head, but it was good other than that."

"You hit your head?" Taylor asked, lifting her head off of Travis' chest.

He nodded. "Yeah. I had a helmet on, but it still hurt a little. It's all good though, my head remains intact." He flexed and a smile broke out on Taylor's face. "Haha, well, for now."

"What do you mean?" Travis asked, chuckling slightly.

"I mean, you've taken a lot of hits to the head." She shrugged, snuggling closer into him. "You can't afford to hit it anymore or your brain power will go down even more." She commented and Travis suddenly went quiet.

Travis was very aware of how smart Taylor was, and couldn't help but think sometimes that she deserved someone better, smarter, than him. And he hated to admit that it was one of his biggest insecurities. Taylor deserves someone just as smart and intelligent as her, and not someone who thought it was Alison Wonderland, he thought to himself.

"You okay?" Taylor asked, noticing how quiet he suddenly went.

"Hm, yeah. I'm, uh, fine." He shrugged. Taylor furrowed his eyebrows at him but eventually just set her head back on his chest and started scrolling through channels on the tv.

Travis tried to listen to the show that Taylor put on but couldn't help but let his mind keep wandering back to what Taylor said earlier.

Taylor noticed how quiet he seemed to have gotten but just figured it was 'cause he was tired from his practice.
