Is It Over Now?

Summary: Travis has a pretty exciting plan coming up, he's gonna propose to Taylor! He gets the ring and the idea ready. All he needs is Taylor. But when he goes to pick her up for a surprise date, he gets a surprise of his own.

"Are you excited? You're gonna propose to the love of your life!" Jason said, patting Travis on the back.

"Yep, I'm pretty excited. Nervous, but excited." Travis replied.

"Don't be nervous. You'll do great and I'm sure she'll say yes, she's just as in love with you as you are with her." Kylie said, bouncing Bennie in her arms to keep the child asleep.

"So, what do you plan to do?" Jason asked, handing Travis a beer from the fridge.

"Uh, well, I ordered us a private boat just for ourselves and I plan to hire a chef, since I can't cook for shit, and have them make her favorite meal, and then I'm gonna take her out to look at the stars and hopefully keep her distracted by the stars long enough to grab the ring and get on one knee, and then I'll ask her when she notices I'm not standing next to her anymore." Travis explained.

"That sounds like an amazing plan, Trav." Kylie replied, sitting down next to Travis.

"You think so?" He questioned and both Jason and Kylie nodded. "We're sure." They replied in unison. "Well, congratulations in advance, bro." Jason said.

"She hasn't even said yes, yet." Travis chuckled.

"Sue will." Jason replied. "I have faith. That woman is incredibly down bad for you and it's very easy to tell."

Travis blushed. "Well, thanks for the pep talk, guys. But I should get going." Travis said, standing up from the couch. "Big day tomorrow."

"Yep, see you later, man." Jason replied and Travis gave them both a hug before leaving the house and heading home.

When Travis got home, he texted a quick "I love you baby! Can't wait for our date tomorrow🫶" and Taylor replied around half an hour later with a simple "see you then!"

"Hm, she's probably busy and didn't have enough time to reply a whole lot." Travis mumbled to himself, putting his phone on the kitchen counter to go change and get in bed, even thought it was only 9:30. He was just too excited for tomorrow he wanted to go to bed as quickly as possible to make the time go faster.

When he got in bed, he sighed and closed his eyes with a soft smile. Everyone other than Taylor knows about his plans to propose. He told her family first, when he was asking for their blessing, to which they gave it to him pretty quickly and easily. The next people he told were his parents, who were overjoyed that Taylor was gonna hopefully be joining the Kelce family for real. Then he told Jason and Kylie, who were just as excited as Donna and Ed that Taylor was gonna join the family. And the last people he told were Patrick and Brittany, who were sad that they were the last to know, but thrilled that Taylor was gonna stick around forever.

Travis let the thoughts of tomorrow race through his head until he eventually fell into a deep sleep.

Travis woke up with a smile on his face. Today was the day!

He got up out of bed and brushed his teeth before walking to the kitchen to get some breakfast. He ate with a smile one his face, just thinking about the plans of tonight.
