Summary: these are cute little things that Travis' family notice are different about Travis that could have only been 'caused by a cute, tall popstar.
*********"Are you almost here?" Travis asked, setting out the last plate that was being served for lunch.
"Yeah, we're almost there." Jason replied. "Probably around five minutes away."
Today, Travis' family was coming over to have a nice lunch and catch up. The reluctance on the entire Kelce families faces was evident when Travis told them that he wanted it to be at his house, considering his inability to cook and his past experience with starting a fire while trying to make Ramen.
But Travis seemed confident and clearly really wanted to, so they let him. There hasn't been a call yet about how he had burned the house down or all the dishes so they guess it worked out okay.
"Okay, just making sure. See you then." Travis replied before he hung up. He continued to organize all the dishes in the table so they looked perfect until the doorbell finally rang shortly after.
Travis made his way to the door and opened it where his family stood. "Uncle Travy!" Wyatt yelled, launching herself into her uncle's arms.
"Hey, Wy!" Travis replied, giving her a tight hug.
"Alright, Wy, how about we enter the house fully before you attack your uncle." Kylie said, gently prying the child off of Travis.
"Hello everybody." Travis said, moving aside so everyone can enter.
He lead them into the kitchen and everyone looked shock at the amount of complex dishes on the table, perfectly cooked.
"Damn, Travis." Jason said. "There's no way."
"There's no way... what?" Travis asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Listen, honey, you know we love you, but there's no way you cooked all of this by yourself." Donna spoke up.
"Hey!" Travis said. "I'm not that bad at cooking." Everyone glanced at Travis in unison who just rolled his eyes. "Fine." He sighed, "If you must know, Tay helped me out a little... okay, a lot."
"I didn't know she could cook like this." Donna said.
"She can do anything and everything." Travis replied. Taylor wanted to join them for their lunch but sadly had a session at the studio that she couldn't get out of.
"Well it looks amazing." Ed spoke.
Travis smiled. "Oh!" He suddenly remembered. "I also got some wine."
He quickly turned and opened the fridge, pulling out the aforementioned wine. "Alright, I also have some juice for the kids if they want any. But I'm hungry so let's eat!"
Travis set the wine down in the middle of the table and found himself a seat. Everyone began to gather food onto their plates, talking amongst themselves.
"Travis, this wine is amazing! I've never had it before. It's not the kind you usually get, either." Kylie commented, taking another sip from her glass.
"It's Tay's favorite." Travis replied. "I figured you all might like it too."
"It's great." Donna commented next.
Travis smiled and they continued to eat and talk amongst themselves.
"Ooh, I love that picture Travis!" Kylie commented shortly after, pointing at a picture hung on the wall near the hallway. Travis turned to see what picture she was talking about.
