Birthday Breakfast In Bed

Summary: it's Taylor birthday and Travis surprises her with breakfast in bed

Travis smiled to himself proudly as he had just finished making Taylors breakfast. Today was her birthday and he wanted to start it off with breakfast in bed, which is why Travis got up at seven o'clock on his off day to make his beautiful girlfriend an amazing breakfast.

It was pretty hard considering Travis wasn't a very good cook, so he tried his best and was just hoping Taylor would like it, although he knew that even if it was the worst breakfast she's ever had, she'd still scarf it all down as to not hurt his feelings. He was still hoping that wasn't an option, though.

After putting all of the breakfast on a lap desk, he carefully walked up the stairs with everything balancing on the desk.

"Okay, almost there." He whispered to himself as a way of encouragement to not drop anything. He opened the door slowly and crept in.

Laying on the bed, clutching Travis' pillow since her original pillow left to make her breakfast, was his amazing and gorgeous girlfriend. Her hair was sprawled across the bed and she only donned one of Travis' KC shirts. Their original attire was nothing because they had a little too much fun the previous night, but Taylor got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and saw the shirt on her way back, deciding she wanted to wear it.

She had such a peaceful and happy expression on her face and it made Travis insanely happy, knowing that she was. He carefully set the food on the ground for a minute so he could wake her up. He climbed in the bed and laid down next to her, moving a strand of curly blonde hair out of her face.

He moved closer to her and started to gently kiss both of her cheeks, then her forehead, then her nose, and last but certainly not least, he laid a soft kiss the her lips. He watched as her eyebrows scrunched up in confusion, her eyes still closed.

Travis watched with an amused smile on her face as she started to slowly move and wake up. Her eyes eventually fluttered open and she stared at Travis with tired eyes. "Mm, Travis?" She mumbled, but it came off more like a question.

"Hey, baby." He smiled, leaning in to give her another kiss on her forehead. "Happy birthday!" He whisper-shouted.

"Mm." Taylor moaned again, starting to stretch her limbs like a cat. "Thank you." She smiled, her voice raspy and absolutely adorable. Travis grabbed the pillow that she was once clutching and moved it over to its original place.

She flashed him a Cheshire Cat smile when she became fully aware of her surroundings. She moved closer into Travis' bare chest and pillowed her head on it, sighing in comfort. "Mmh, it's my birthday!" She smiled happily, burying her head further into his chest. This is definitely something everyone should be aware of when it comes to Taylor Swift, she loves her birthday.

"It is!" Travis replied with the same enthusiasm. "Which means today is all about you." He kissed her forehead softly. "So, to start off the day." Travis moved over to the side of the bed, causing Taylor to groan as she moved her head from the comfortable place on his chest.

"Don't worry baby, you'll have your human pillow back soon. First..." he picked up the food tray from where it was laying on the side of the bed. Taylor gasped when she saw the food laid out for her. "Is this for me?"

Travis chuckled. "Who else would it be for? Meredith?" He questioned, and they both turned to see Meredith walking into the room, hissing and then jumping on the bed, curling up in a ball on the edge of the bed. Taylor and Travis chuckled in unison before Travis turned back to Taylor.

"Anyway... Yes, ma'am! This is for you. An amazing breakfast for an amazing lady!" Taylor blushed and sat up straight so Travis can set the tray on her lap. After setting it on her lap, he gave her a peck on the lips and she quickly dug in. "Mm, this is amazing!"

Travis smiled. "Really? Are you just saying that as to not hurt my feelings or is it really good? I mean, I tried really hard and I even put both chocolate chips and blueberries in the batch, which I didn't think people liked it all at once, but I tried my best and-" Taylor cut him off by kissing him on the lips. "Hey, I'm serious. It's amazing. And both chocolate chips and blueberries in one pancake is an amazing combo! You're missing out. Here." She gathered a piece of the pancake on her fork and brought it to his mouth. He took a bite and chewed it slowly while Taylor waited impatiently for his reaction.

"Hm, not bad. Not bad at all. I just prefer them separated." Taylor rolled her eyes jokingly and took a sip of her orange juice with no pulp, just how she liked it. She gave the cup to Travis so he can have a sip too. "Well, you're missing out."

Travis smiled at her and moved in closer, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and bringing her to rest against him. "So, what are the birthday plans? Besides what I have laid out for us."

"Uhm, well, mom and dad are gonna be here around noon. And you said that your family was having us over at like two. And then you said we were going out for dinner? If I'm even still hungry." Travis smiled. "Oh, yeah. Okay! Sounds good. I also have a few more tricks up my sleeve, m'lady."

Taylor raised her eyebrows. "Really? And what would that be?"

Travis shrugged innocently. "You'll just have to see." Taylor smiled and shook her head, burying herself farther into Travis while finishing up her dinner, Travis joining into steal a piece from her plate.

"Happy birthday, baby." Travis kissed her head and raked his hand through her hair. "I love you so much."

Taylor smiled and blushed. "I love you too, after a couple years of not so good birthdays, this definitely makes up for it."

Travis furrowed his eyebrows."what do you mean not so good birthdays?"

Taylor shook her head. "Nothing, it's all in the past. I'm happy now, and that's all that matters.

Taylor and Travis smiled at each other softly before cuddling closer into each other, enjoying the warmth and comfort of the other.

Sorry if this is bad😭😭 I was making this and a Taylor birthday edit at the same time so I could post them when I woke up the next morning. I was up till 1:00 am for this😂😭 but I should probably go to bed now👍 again, sorry if this isn't a good birthday chapter, lol.

Also, I know I said that my new book would be up before the newest chapter of this, but I wasn't thinking of a bday chapter at the time. So now the new book will definitely be up before the next chapter:)
