I decided to skip past the usually starter chapter of him trying to give her a bracelet 'cause y'all are probably used to reading it as a first chapter😂
Summary: basically just about the "karma is the guy on the Chiefs" line.
..............
Travis stood in the vip tent of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift's, concert. Damn, he'd never get tired of saying that.
The first time he went to the concert. He had a dream. A dream of giving his celebrity crush and this incredibly talented person a friendship bracelet, hoping to shoot his shot, even though he expected that it wouldn't work. Now he was back, able to call that same person, the one having a blast on the stage, singing and dancing, his girlfriend.
He felt at least thirty cameras on him at the moment, but he couldn't care less, too enthralled at watching Taylor on the stage.
"Are you having fun, Travis?" He got snapped out of his stare as Taylor's father, Scott Swift, got his attention.
"Yeah, it's amazing, just as much as the first time! Maybe even more since I don't have to be worried the whole time, wondering if I'll be able to talk to her." He smiled shyly, kind of starting to regret just admitting that to her father.
Scott chuckled. "Haha, well I'm glad to hear it. You're a good guy, Travis. Even if you're trying to turn me into a Chiefs fan"
Travis laughed. "I mean, you're wearing the lanyard." The day that Travis arrived, Taylor and him met up with Scott at a restaurant so that he could meet him, since they were gonna be in the tent the whole time together without Taylor, she thought it'd be easier to just go ahead and meet. He was a very nice guy and it definitely calmed Travis' fears about the concert.
After they found out that it got postponed, Taylor was very visibly upset. But Travis calmed her down as best as he could and offered to go out to a restaurant and get her mind off of it. But Taylor said that she didn't want to make it seem like she didn't care by just going out with her boyfriend, which he would never get tired of her saying, even thought the concerts postponed. So they decided to just stay in the hotel and order food from there, as well as cuddling up and... well, yeah, let's just leave it at that.
Eventually, Midnight Rain changed into Vigilante Shit. On the outside Travis was trying to act as calm and chill as possible while standing next to Scott, but on the inside... this is a great performance.
He watched this dance a little too eagerly until around the part where she starts to slide her hand down her body, which is when Scott gets his attention. "I don't really watch this part." He whispers into Travis' ear, who chuckles. He couldn't agree though, 'cause he loves watching this part.
Not long after, the last song, Karma, started playing. Travis watched her smile and dance around with a smile on his face.
"Karma takes all my friends to the summit. Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me!"
Scott gave a light slap to Travis' arm and his eyes widened, trying to process if she actually just said that. His face turns a dark shade of red and he puts his hands on his face.
An adorable giggle escaped Taylor's mouth as well, while Travis' face grew even redder and Scott continued to chuckle from next to him.
..............
"Here, why don't you stand right there." Scott told him, the show had just ended and Taylor was now heading out to see him.
"Oh, uh, I would've thought you'd want to stand there. So she'll see you first?" Travis questioned.
"Trust me, son, she'll want to see you first." Travis felt a light blush creeping up his cheeks. "Oh, uh, okay. Thanks." He smiled shyly.
He walked to where Scott directed him to and waited patiently. Fans were screaming towards him and cheering so he blew them kisses and waved at them.
Travis eventually saw Taylor waving at fans as she walked down towards where he was. He placed his hands behind his back as he waited for her. He decided to take this relationship at her speed. He wasn't at all shy to announce to the world that his girlfriend was Taylor Swift, but Taylor was trying to keep things a little more quiet and reserved, so he decided to wait and see how she wanted to greet him before he did anything.
Much to his surprise, she started running as soon as she saw him and basically leaped into his arms, throwing her lips onto his. Travis quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer as they swayed in a circle.
Taylor eventually released her lips from his and started walking with him back into the tent. Travis bent down to Taylor while they walked so he could see her better.
"I changed the lyric in Karma! Did you hear it?" She questioned excitedly, as if she was a child that wanted her parent to watch them do something cool.
"I did, baby! It was amazing! I absolutely loved it. You're so amazing." Travis bent down to kiss her again as they disappeared fully into the tent.
..............
Later that night, Taylor and Travis laid down on the bed, cuddled up to each other. Taylor was wearing Travis' shirt. Which basically went down to below her knees while Travis was shirtless because, well, the shirt he previously had on is the one Taylor stole off of him.
Taylor laid with her head on his chest, while he had his arm around her. "I don't know how you do it." Travis sighed, referring to how she's able to perform shows like this.
"You play football, Travis. I don't know how you do it." Taylor replies, chuckling.
"Yeah, but I get breaks and the games aren't almost here hours long. You are absolutely amazing." Travis kissed her forehead and she snuggled more closely into his chest.
"I love you, Travis." Taylor yawned out as she felt her eyes close.
"I love you too, baby. Go to bed, get some rest. You sure as hell deserve it."
I actually didn't expect to already be posting this story but I had a random burst of Tayvis inspiration👍
Hope you enjoyed it!
