✿ Jennie ✿
Classes were ending, exams were next week, and everyone was spending most of their time in the library or study rooms. Somi was getting huge. She couldn't even imagine I was thinking that, or she'd kill me with just a look. But I guess she flew under the radar because Uncle Hector must have said something to the principal, or at least I imagine so.
"Jennie, seriously, you must be so in love!"
"What?" I turned to Somi, clutching my books tighter.
We were both heading to the old auditorium to meet up with the rest of the group to study. The little blonde had nothing to do, so she was pestering us during our studies.
"You think about Lisa all the time! You didn't even hear what I said! I said that Mingyu and I broke up!" she pouted.
"You and he what?" I was shocked; they had been inseparable until lunchtime.
"Just kidding! It was just to prove that you weren't listening to anything I said!" she rolled her eyes. "Tell me, what does Lisa have that's so special for you to think only about her?"
"Actually, I was thinking about you and how my life has changed in a year!" I shrugged, resuming walking, but soon I had a little blonde hanging around my neck. "What...?"
"Oh, can I hug you, right, Jen?" she whined, really crying. "You're the best cousin in the world, I missed you so much! I'm glad you're still my friend and put up with me! Ahhh, Jennie!"
"Somi!" I pushed her away by the shoulders; she smiled through her tears. "You're my best friend."
"Thank you!" She hugged me back, but quickly.
"And seriously, I can't wait to have my godson, or goddaughter, in my arms so your hormones go back to normal and you don't surprise me with tears and hugs!" I joked.
She laughed heartily as we entered the auditorium. Lisa was sprawled on a couch, Mingyu on the floor, and Jisoo and Rosé were the only ones sitting at the table with their books open.
"Hey!" I tapped Lisa's legs until she woke up. "You should be studying!"
"I'm going to be a soccer player, I don't need high grades!" she mumbled, still with her eyes closed.
"If you want to be my girlfriend, you need to have high grades! I'm not going to date an idiot!" I joked in a stern tone.
She opened one eye and stared at me for a few seconds.
"You're not pregnant too, are you?" she blurted out of nowhere.
The four others turned to us, too surprised. Curious. I blushed immediately. I never thought after so long someone could make me feel embarrassed, get flustered, or have an immense urge to laugh at others.
"Oh, sorry! I didn't mean that!" she sat up on the couch, now laughing at me. "But you were looking like Somi!" she defended herself.
"You...you..." I started to breathe too fast.
"Beautiful, hot, the woman of my life!" she pulled me by the wrists.
I dropped the books and ended up falling into her lap.
"Go on, say I'm all that!" she winked, cheekily.
"I'm not saying anything!" I crossed my arms and stuck my tongue out at her, she laughed softly.
"I missed you, baby!" she hugged me tight. "I love you!"
"I love you too!" I whispered just for her to hear, we didn't need witnesses to our declarations.
