FIVE THIRTY OF THE MORNING. Sterling woke up thanks to her alarm. She turned off and looked for her phone. Texts from her sisters and friends showed up, as did a message from Theo that he sent at midnight. The brunette got off of the comfy sheets so she could go to bed.

She got her towel and opened the door of her room so she could go to the shower.

She showered like usual; today was a good day; she didn't wake up lazy, even though she had her 8-hour shift at the clinic today. She stepped out of the shower and went to her room. She started to change into her blue fig scrubs, and she put on her white crocs with some cute pins in them. The brunette sat on her vanity and did her makeup as usual, and she tied her hair into a high, slick ponytail. The screen of her phone illuminates. A text just appeared. She looked at the phone to see who had just texted her.

Kit Kate🤍
Have a great day at the hospital, I love you. You're going to be the best PICU nurse !!!🤍🤍

She smiled at the screen. She found very cute that everyday Kate will ask her how her shift went. The blonde was so excited to ask, and the brunette was so happy to tell her. Sterling answered the text and took her purse and all her hospital stuff as well. She took her water bottle, already full from the night before.
The green-eyed woman closed her door and wrote Gabbie a note on their white board.

"I love you Gibbie, I'm at the hospital, I left you some pancakes in the fridge"

She took her keys and locked the door. As she closed the door to walk down the hallway of the building, as she walked out of the hall, she continued to the parking lot where her car was parked. Sterling opened the copilot door so she could get all her stuff in there. Coss got into the pilot seat, and she fastened the seat belt as she reversed her car to get out to the parking lot, putting the hospital address on her car screen.

After a fifteen-minute drive with some traffic, she parked her car, took all her stuff, got out, and walked to the hospital's front door to finally start her day.

Of the eight-hour shift, there were only thirty minutes left until Sterling's shift ended. She was sitting on her desk, looking at her phone. She did everything her instructor told her to do, and she was only waiting until the exit time.

She typed something on her keyboard, let out a little laugh, and also replied to some of the messages that she had received when she was busy with the patients. Like Gabbie thanking her to make her some breakfast and her little sister telling her how New York City has treated her and showing her all her drawing works...

A notification popped out on her screen. Kate replied to her tweet; she read the blonde comment and laughed with a pink shade in her cheeks. She's been hanging out a lot more lately with Kate; something about the blonde hooper makes Sterling feel some type of way, like feeling so special. Something that she hasn't felt in so much time. On the other hand, she's been questioning herself about what's wrong with those feelings when she's around Kate, but she only washes them off, saying that it's because Martin has become her best friend. But she doesn't feel half of those emotions when she's with Gabbie.

She was getting all her stuff packed in her purse when a flashback came to her mind: the night where Kate and her slept together cuddled in her bed.
