Her encounter with dad was enough to sour her mood for the rest of the day, not even including fighting the Sparrows, and meeting the new asshole Ben.

Seeing him in person for the first time in so long had hit Y/N's weak spot, even though Klaus was always there to remind her that the sassy ghost of Ben was always with them wherever they went.

Y/N was now walking in the park, glaring at the pedestrians that were ogling at her state.

"What are you staring at," she barked, her tone enough for the teenage boy gawking at her to scurry away.

After she left the Academy, she realized that she'd been separated from the rest of the group. It's not like she wanted to see them anyway after the embarrassment she faced while walking out.

"Why the long face," Alphonso mocked, giggling with Jayme as they shared a fist bump.

Why the disfigured face?

Y/N fist bumped herself in her head.

"Y/N! We've been looking all over for you," a familiar voice yelled.

It was Diego, followed by Klaus and Allison, who had a serious bloody nose.

"I had a fun little chat with dad," she replied, putting her hands on her hips.

"Did he say anything about why he, I don't know, disowned us after 30 years?"

Y/N sighed and chose not to answer, looking around for everybody else. Just a few feet away, she could see Luther, Vanya, and Five all spread out over the benches and tables.

"At least everyone's okay," she shrugged walling towards them.

"Nuh-uh. These guys can do some freaky shit. That one chick spit some green stuff on my face and after that, all of us were dancing Footloose and confetti everywhere. It was so fucked up," Diego argued.

Y/N smirked at him. "Footloose? Seriously? In my little fever dream, I burnt Five's face off."

"You what?"

Y/N turned around to see Five behind her, looking a little disheveled.

"Nothing."

Five raised an eyebrow at the both of them. "Jayme, right?"

The both nodded.

"You saw something too, huh," Diego asked.

"Yeah...it was...something."

Five paused, looking at Y/N. He pursed his lips and an awkward silence enveloped the three of them.

"So? What was it about," Y/N questioned.

"Erm, uh," Five raked his mind, trying not to reveal his semi-sex dream and he shrugged. "I saw Delores."

Fuck, he thought. That's even worse.

"Delores? As in the bald, half-bodied mannequin I threw off the balcony," Y/N raised a brow. Although she wore a smile on her face, she couldn't help but feel a little jealousy over the fact that he still remembered that stupid mannequin.

What wrong with me? They both thought.

Diego shook his head in amusement when Five was silent and walked away, sitting on a bench.
