The mansion was an architectural marvel, a testament to the wealth and opulence of its owner. Its walls were adorned with priceless artwork and its gardens were meticulously maintained. And the heir to this empire was no one else than your best friend Hyunjin. He invited you over to hang out, just like he had done all those years you had known each other.

As the afternoon wore on, you and Hyunjin had spent time swimming, playing tennis, and even trying your hands at archery. The sun began to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. You were lying on a lounge chair by the pool, enjoying the last rays of sunlight, when Hyunjin suddenly appeared beside you. With a sly grin, he pulled up the right side of the lounge chair, causing you to fall right into the pool.

"Hey!" you exclaimed, laughing as you surfaced. "You didn't warn me!"

"Ah, but that's part of the fun, isn't it?" Hyunjin replied, grinning mischievously.

Before you could protest, he pushed off from the edge of the pool and dove in, swimming gracefully beneath the surface. You watched him for a moment, feeling the cool water ripple against your skin, and then quickly decided to retaliate. Gathering your strength, you kicked off from the side of the pool and shot towards him, meeting him halfway and pushing him back under with all your strength.

The two of you continued your playful battle, laughing and splashing each other as you swam. You realized that, despite the vast wealth and power that Hyunjin would one day inherit, he was still the same friend you had known growing up. There was a carefree spirit about him that you envied, a willingness to embrace life and all its joys, no matter how fleeting they might be.

As the fight continued, you found yourself tiring, and Hyunjin began to gain the upper hand. He cornered you against one of the pool's walls, grinning wickedly. Just as he was about to deliver the final blow, you managed to slip past him and swim to the edge of the pool. Pulling yourself out, you collapsed onto the pool deck, panting and laughing.

"Ha! You thought you had me there, huh?" you said as Hyunjin surfacing beside you.

He paused for a moment looking at you, his expression serious. And just like that you got lost in his brown eyes.

"You know, we could have something special together," he suddenly spoke. "More than just friends."

The air between you seemed to crackle with electricity, and you found yourself unable to look away from his eyes.

Time seemed to stand still as you found yourselves drawn closer, unable to resist the pull of your mutual attraction. Your hearts raced, and your breaths came in short gasps. As you leaned in towards him, your lips barely a whisper away from his, you knew that this was the moment you had both been waiting for. In that instant, the boundaries between friendship and love blurred, and all that mattered was the connection you shared.

Hyunjin's hands were gentle as they caressed your cheek, his thumb brushing against your lips. He leaned in further, pressing his lips against yours in a tender yet passionate kiss. You lost yourself in the feeling of being wanted and loved by your best friend.

As if reading your mind, he pulled back slightly and met your eyes. "

You know, I've always thought that we could build something beautiful, together." he said, his voice a husky whisper.

The words sent a rush of warmth through your entire body, and you couldn't help but lean in closer, pressing your lips against his once more.

Hyunjin smiled against your lips.

After he pulled back slightly, he whispered: "I've seen you grow into this incredible person. You have a strength and a determination that I've always admired."

As he spoke, his hands traced lazy circles around your back, pulling you even closer. You could feel the warmth of his body, the steady rhythm of his heart against yours. It was as if you were two halves of the same whole, perfectly in sync with one another.

You looked up at him, your eyes wide and filled with wonder.

"I never realized how I felt about you until now," you confessed, your voice barely above a whisper. "But now that I do... I can't imagine going back to the way things were."

Hyunjin smiled down at you, his eyes soft and loving.

"I know what you mean," he said, brushing a strand of hair from your face. "I've always been drawn to you, but it wasn't until today that I realized just how deep those feelings ran."

He leaned in closer, his lips barely brushing against yours before pulling back again.

"I want to be with you, y/n. I want to share my life with you, and see where this new path we're on takes us."

His words sent a shiver through you, and you found yourself nodding in agreement, unable to form the words to express how you truly felt.

Just before you could say anything Hyunjin's dad emerged from the mansion.

"Well it was about time you two took that step. Everybody has been waiting for years now."

He winked at you, while Hyunjing groaned and you started laughing.
