CHAPTER 57

Ji Jungkook waited till evening.

Ye Lei Ting brought good news back, Nu Zhen's army lost and escaped using two different routes, one group headed towards the northwest, and another northeast. When he entered the tent, he saw Ji Jungkook sitting there alone, and could not help but ask:

"Where's Lisa?"

"Where's Lisa?"

Both their voices were heard at the same time, Ye Lei Ting immediately felt something was not right, and quickly untied Ji Jungkook. Not sparing a moment to explain, Ji Jungkook rushed out to look for Lisa, but no one saw her, and she was not in the group of injured soldiers as well.

Ji Jungkook was like a headless fly, he asked anyone that he passes by, and his face gets paler each time. Seeing his face was very scarily pale, and forehead full of sweat, Ye Lei Ting went to stop him, and consoled "It is very messy now, perhaps she is just in one of the other groups, she will come and find you in a while"

"No, if she really is here, then the first thing she will do would be to boast in front of me" Ji Jungkook answered, left Ye Lei Ting and proceeded to ask others if they have seen General Zhen.

An absent minded soldier answered, "We all have not seen General Zhen, most probably he sacrificed for the country......"

This was actually the most logical guess, it was just that no one wanted to speak it out.

JI Jungkook glared at the soldier, until he got afraid, turned and ran away.

Ye Lei Ting noticed that his body seems a little abnormal, so he decided to call someone to get Lu Li. In the whole camp, the only person that can fight and win Ji Jungkook is only Lu Li. Lu Li still haven't change out from his bloodied armour, so when Ji Jungkook smelt the blood from him, he nearly went crazy. Lu Li quickly reacted before Ji Jungkook went crazy, with the back of the sword, he made JI Jungkook faint.

Because he was mentally exhausted, Ji Jungkook slept till the next afternoon. Ye Lei Ting was sitting next to his bed, saw him opening his eyes, and before he can talk, he quickly say "Lisa is still alive"

Ji Jungkook let out a breath, his eyes much brighter now. Sitting up, and receiving a bowl of water from Ye Lei Ting, he took a big gulp.

Ye Lei Ting saw that he was finally back to normal state, he too felt better now. He ordered for some food to be sent over, but Ji Jungkook does not have to appetite to eat, so after taking a few bites, he stopped and look at Ye Lei Ting.

Ye Lei Ting said, "Don't worry, Lisa's skill is still not too bad, she will not be easily injured during the battle. I have ordered men from all the camps to go back to the battlefield yesterday and to search through the bodies, and afraid that it was not clear at night, they went again this morning, they did not find her. It means that she is still alive, just that she did not return, so she either got lost, or got... caught."

"Even if she got lost, it has been so long, she would be able to come back already" Ji Jungkook said.

"So...."

"So, she was captured by the enemy to be servant" Ji Jungkook sighed, "Yesterday, I have lost my rationality"

"You are just too anxious"

Ji Jungkook pondered for a while and said "Something's not right. Normally only when you win a war would you capture enemy soldier's when you win a war, yesterday Nu Zhen lost, and was in a hurry to escape, why would they waste effort to catch an enemy soldier?"

"This is also what I am worried about." Ye Lei Ting answered
