(Well ya'll get it, this is part three to previous sad shit)

Five months since the last extermination when a certain spider had been lost, but it was soon found out that Angel Dust had actually gotten into heaven and no one could believe it. Husk had seemed to be doing better since four months ago, when he finally started to deal with his emotions. The cat like sinner had been drinking less and started talking to people a little more, but nobody pushed him. Husk continued to take care of the missing arachnid's cherished pet pig, Fat Nuggets, because he knew that if Angel thought the winged sinner wasn't taking care of his beloved pet, he'd have beaten his partner in an instant.

Husk was now half-awake in Angel's room, lying on his side on the bed, too tired to get up, but too awake to go back to sleep. He missed the spider's comforting touch and Husk had had a hard time falling asleep without Angel since he'd left. Left is a funny way to put it, but it made it easier for Husk to cope when he thought of it like that. He'd been pretending it was like that for a while, but after a few weeks, he'd learned to accept it rather than making the feeling less real.

An alarm sounded, making a noise that felt like it was going to make Husk's sensitive ears explode. He groaned, rolling over to turn the annoying thing off. As his fingertips hit the button, they lingered after the sound as he remembered how another morning would have went.

Five months ago he would've woken up to that same alarm and then Angel would've told him to 'turn the fucking piece of shit off' even though he was the one who got it to begin with. They both probably would've ended up falling back asleep until Alastor told Husk to go down to the bar or until Valentino spammed Angel's phone with angry texts and unending calls and he had to go back up to work. If Angel had a day off, they probably would've laid around all day, doing absolutely nothing but be near each other.

Husk smiled sadly, thinking about it all and missing it. He went downstairs to distract himself with anything to stop thinking about Angel. He started opening up the bar, pulling out glasses and grabbing himself a bottle of something, at this point he didn't care as long as it was alcohol. He heard the thud of heavy, angry footsteps coming down the stairs. He instantly knew it was Vaggie.

"I need a drink," Vaggie sighed exasperatedly as she threw herself down on the bar stool. Husk instantly thought of Angel, coming home from a long day of dealing with Val. He felt a lump form in his throat at the memory.

"Yeah, no shit," Husk scoffed, poring her what she ordered and sliding it to her. The fallen angel gladly took it and had a long much needed drink.

"I've already gotten attitude from five other people this morning and I don't need it from you," she snarled. She acted like this toward Husk every time she got a drink from the bar. Husk had practically memorized people's routines.

There was a long silence for a moment and oddly enough, Husk was the one to break it. "How would you feel... if you l-lost someone close to you?" Husk asked in a wavering voice.

Vaggie's eyes widened knowingly as she thought about what she would say so she didn't say anything terrible. "I-I guess I would feel the same as you. If I lost Charlie... I don't know what I would do... y'know?"

Husk stared at the bar counter as he felt his breathing grow shaky. "Yeah... I know and I... I don't know what to do. It's been five fucking months and I still don't entirely know what to do." He gripped the edge of the counter tightly to keep himself steady. He didn't know why he asked the question and he sure as hell wasn't going to break down in front of somebody else.

"Well he's in heaven though isn't he?" Vaggie shrugged, trying not to draw attention to Husk's current state.

"I'm sure as hell never going to get there even if I tried."

"But you love him don't you?"

Husk hesitated, but nodded softly.

"Then try. Now I have some more dumb asses I need to deal with and um... good luck getting to him." She left at that, going back up the stairs and leaving behind that same empty feeling behind, lingering in the halls.

Husk had never thought about actually trying to be redeemed before, but Angel... he was worth it. He was more than worth it and Husk would do anything to see him again.

(Yes there will be a part four)
