(Finally, the ending)

Husk's head whipped around frantically as he tried to figure out where the hell he was. He sure as fuck wasn't in Hell and he had no idea what was going on. His head seared with pain as he remembered what had happened over the last two hours. It had been another extermination and guess what, he had died. Again. Husk wouldn't recommend it. Once is enough.

The cat was startled by a sudden squeal that rang through the air as he tripped over his tail and fell over. "Holy shit!" He yelped as he hit the ground with a thud.

"Ohmygoshohmygosh! I am sooooo sorry! Hi! I'm Emily!" The smaller person of the room rambled, grabbing Husk's arm and helping him up. Husk pushed her hand away and scrambled to his feet. He noticed another person, taller and with a horrified look on her face.

"Where the actual fuck am I?" Husk murmured, breathing heavily as he continued to scan the room.

"You were redeemed! You're in heaven! Oh, Charlie is going to be sooooo happy! Ohmygosh!" She squealed, jumping up and down with excitement.

'Redeemed?' Husk thought. No fucking way. Yes, he had been doing better with the help of Charlie over the last two months, but redeemed? He wasn't good enough for that. He wasn't anything like Angel Dust. He suddenly froze. He was in heaven, that meant Angel was in heaven.

"Where's Angel?" He asked softly. Emily must not have heard him because she stared at him with a questioning expression. "Where is Angel?" The cat repeated, a little louder and more forceful. Emily was still confused. "Angel Dust," Husk added quickly.

"Oh! You mean Anthony!" She said. Husk was startled for a moment, Anthony never used his real name. He had only told Husk, Val didn't count, and he never called him Anthony around anybody else.

"Where is he?" Husk asked, a pleading tone in his voice. He just wanted to see the spider. More than anything.

Emily guided him out the door as she spoke. "He should be with Molly or Pentious. I think it's nice to have someone else from the hotel up here. They're gonna be so happy to see you and this is just another way to prove to Sera what Charlie's doing is working and-"

Husk tuned her out as she showed him to where Anthony should be. He was getting anxious and was about to go look for the spider himself. He was snapped out of his thoughts by Emily shaking his arm and pointing into a crowd of angels.

"He's right there with his sister and Pentious- Oh!" She exclaimed noticing that the feline had already left.

Husk stopped in his tracks and stared at the arachnid before him, his heart pounding out of his chest. It had been too long. Pentious noticed Husk first and tapped Anthony on the shoulder as he pointed toward their friend from the hotel. Anthony gaped at the winged cat, slowly taking a step then forgetting that as he practically jumped into the other's arms.

"Holy shit. How'd ya do it? How- I-" Anthony stammered as he let Husk's arms wrap around him in a tight embrace as he melted into the touch that he had missed so much. He missed every bit of the cat. "I missed ya, so much," he choked out, tears in his eyes, and a lump in his throat. He placed one set of arms around the others torso and the other around his neck.

Husk didn't say anything, but instead, cradled the spider's face in his hands and stared, mesmerized, into his eyes. His pupils were dilated and his heart kept skipping beats at the feeling of Anthony's soft fur. Husk pulled Anthony into a long, passionate kiss. He missed everything about the kiss, how he tasted, how his soft lips felt on his, and the feeling of cold shivers running down his spine that always made his heart flutter.

Anthony pulled away and spoke softly, letting his head rest on Husk's. "Look who's the angel now." He let the tears that had been building up slide down his cheeks.

Husk let his lips hover against Anthony's, his warm breath hitting his skin. "Just shut up and let me kiss you," Husk muttered just loud enough for the spider to hear. He pressed his lips against Anthony's as they let themselves melt into another deep kiss. Husk pulled away this time, but continued to hold the other close.

"I don't ever want to leave you again," Anthony sighed, laughing softly in between cries. He buried his head in the crook of the cat's neck while Husk left small kisses on his the back of his head and his temple.

"I won't let you go," Husk mumbled.

(Bonus)

Sir Pentious and Emily stared at the heart wrenching sight before them.

"Oh my goodness, this is so adorable," Emily said, tearing up herself.

"I knew they were gay for each other," Sir Pentious claimed triumphantly.
