Cold Days

(I needed to write this because where I live, it is fucking HOT outside and I miss the cold weather. WINTER WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU COME BACK I AM FUCKING DYING!)

It was fucking freezing outside and Angel Dust had just had to walk back to the hotel from work. The frigid air felt absolutely terrible on his skin and it didn't help how revealing his clothes were. He finally got back to the hotel (which was just as cold as outside) and Husk wasn't anywhere near the bar. Angel sighed, wishing that the cat like bartender was there right then, Husk always seemed to make the spider feel better, no matter what kind of day he had.

The tired arachnid trudged upstairs to his room, slipping through the door and being greeted by his pet demonic pig, Fat Nuggets, who was nudging at his feet. Angel suddenly picked up on the soft sound of breathing coming from a pile of blankets in a big bundle on his bed. He noticed a familiar red tail curled outside of the blankets that made the spider smile.

He made his way over to the bed and sat on the side next to the pile of blankets as he smiled happily. "Husky what the hell are ya doing," he laughed softly as he set his hand on the lump before him.

The blankets shuffled around and Husk's head poked out, with his ears flopped over and a grumpy expression on his face. "Sleeping..." the winged sinner groaned in a deep voice, making Angel giggle even louder.

"Ya look fucking adorable baby," Angel teased, feeling his heart melt at the sight of his unintentionally cute boyfriend. He kissed Husk's forehead gently as he started to stroke his ears. "Ya a little cold in there?"

Husk grumbled something in response before he leaned into Angel's hand, purring at the warm touch of his partner. "It's fucking freezing," he muttered grumpily.

"Yeah it sure is ain't it?" Angel sighed, suddenly getting an idea. "Mind if I get under there too?"

"Sure," Husk yawned. A happy grin spread across Angel's face as he slid under the blankets with Husk, who automatically snuggled up next to the new source of warmth. The winged sinner started to make the deep, rumbling, but comforting sounds of purring as he was curled into Angel's warm body under the mound of blankets he had created. Angel laughed softly as he wrapped all six of his arms around the other and planted little kisses all over his face. "Angel!" Husk laughed, batting the spider's face away making him laugh even harder.

They both calmed down after a moment and continued to lie there, feeling nothing but pure bliss and happiness surround them with the presence of the other. The silence didn't pull down on the air like the crushing weight of words unspoken, rather it rested gently, like a feather on top of a pool of water, simply making the time spent even more peaceful. There wasn't anything taking away from the moment. There was no Valentino calling and leaving enraged voicemails and text messages. There was no Alastor telling Husk to get down to the bar and do his job. It was just the two of them, and it was wonderful.

Angel was the first to speak, but the words didn't break the silence, they melted into it. "This is nice," he sighed tranquilly. It was a relaxing time for him after a grueling day at work. Just being in the presence of his always displeased boss was emotionally draining. On the other hand, being around Husk was like... well, being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold day.

"Yeah," Husk yawned in response as he nuzzled his face into Angel's shoulder. He had never felt as happy as when he was around the spider. When he first met Angel he was utterly annoyed by him, but over time, he found himself falling for him and he felt as if he was still doing so now. Every time he saw him he fell a little more. There was nothing he loved more in all of hell other than Angel who's smile always made the winged sinner light up with joy.

"I love you," Angel breathed peacefully, the words rolling of his tongue so truthfully.

Husk looked back up at the spider and smiled sweetly as he spoke, "I love you too, Anthony." They gazed into the other's eyes for only a long moment before Husk pulled the other into a long and loving kiss. It was so quiet, but not a terrible silence, rather a silence that had already been filled. It was filled with love and happiness and the two continued to lie in it even as they fell asleep.

(Alright so, this is the last chapter I am publishing this before I leave until Friday. I will have no access to my laptop, but I will have my phone, so if you have anymore suggestions I will keep those in mind and add it to my list to write when I get back.)
