(Here's some more sad shit ya'll I'm sorry.)
Husk stared at the ceiling while he laid down on Angel's bed. It was almost as if he was waiting for the spider to come back. He laughed at himself dryly as he sat up for the first time in an entire hour to feed the arachnid's pig that he was absolutely obsessed with. As he got Nuggets his food, a careful knock sounded at the door.
"Husk? Are you still in there?" It was Charlie, for the twentieth time this week she came to check on him, and for the twentieth time this week, he ignored her. "Alastor made dinner... If you want any you can come down and eat with the rest of us. We're all worried about you. You've barely eaten at all and you haven't came out of Angel's room in-in weeks," she spoke slowly, choosing her words carefully, as if saying anything wrong would send Husk spiraling... again. "Please, just- just talk to me. I know your upset, but maybe if you-"
Husk cut her off by finally opening the door and saying gruffly, "What makes you think I'm upset?" He didn't give her a chance to answer before he continued, his voice cracking with each word. "Is- Is it the fact that he's gone? Is it the fact that the one good thing to happen to me in my entire fucking life... left?" He'd usually never let his guard down like this, but given the circumstances and the fact that this past week had been a living hell inside of fucking Hell, he didn't give two shits anymore. He had half a mind to curl up into a little ball and break out into tears right then and there... but he couldn't.
"Husk... I-" Charlie reached out her hand. Husk felt terrible because she was only trying to help, but at this point, he didn't want any help.
"Save your breath, princess. I-I'll be just fine." And with that he shut the door forcefully and sunk down onto the floor, but he didn't cry. Instead, he reached into his pocket as he ran his claws through his grimy hair, he couldn't remember the last time he'd actually tried to take care of himself. Angel would have scolded him and made him start caring if he was there. He pulled a folded piece of paper out of his pocket, unfolding it slowly and delicately to reveal a photo of him and Angel that the spider had insisted on taking one night when they were on a date. Husk stared at it, waiting for the tears to form in his eyes, but they never did. Instead, he ran his hand over the creases and studied every detail on Angels face as if he would forget all about him if he didn't. The spider in the picture had a ridiculous smile plastered on his face and had wrapped one of his arms around Husk, who did not remember enjoying that particularly, but had smiled for his partner none the less.
Finally, Husk felt the tears begin to form in his eyes. He hadn't cried all week and he missed Angel like hell. So he curled up into a ball on the floor, wrapping his arms around his knees which he had brought up to his chest, making a weak set of armor by enfolding himself with his wings and tucking his tail around his body and let all the built up pain, sorrow and tears out.
Fat Nuggets wandered over and nudged the broken sinner until he joined him, lying next to the cat.
"Yeah," Husk choked out in between sobs. "I m-miss him too..." He held the photo close to his chest as he continued to cry.

Angel sat on the bed in the small home that Emily had gotten for him. He knew that she was excited to have another sinner be redeemed, but the spider couldn't help but think about everyone that he left. Especially Husk. Angel knew that Husk wasn't taking this well, he had pretended to be happy when Charlie first got the message that he was eligible for heaven, but now... even Angel wished he was back in Hell. Being in Heaven without Val, but without his partner was worse than being in Hell with Val, and with Husk.
There was a rushed knock on the door and Angel already guessed who it was. He got up to go open it and was met by a very happy seraphim.
"Hi, Angel!" She said, bursting with joy as usual. She reminded him of Charlie... he immediately regretted thinking it. "How have you been? I mean I know you haven't been out much and that this is a lot to take in, but-"
"I'm doing okay, thanks for asking," he cut her off and sighed sadly. He was lying.
"Oh, that's great!" She couldn't tell. But it was better like this. "Well, I was just checking in and I don't want to rush you or anything, but if you want you could always go and visit Pentious!"
"Yeah... I'll think about it. I-is that all." Angel could feel his voice get shaky at the thought of Pentious. It was nice to have someone from the hotel here, but he couldn't shake the terrible feelings of longing to see a certain cat like bartender again.
"Of course." She nodded. "I'll leave you to it." And with that she left.
Angel shut the door quickly and collapsed on the bed as he felt every single tear he was holding in threatening to fall. He fumbled with his hand as his vision blurred while he pulled a folded piece of paper that he always kept in his pocket out. As he unfolded it he replayed the moment portrayed in the photo in his mind. He and Husk were out on a date and Angel had insisted on getting a picture and after a bit of coaxing, the cat caved and let him. The spider laughed as he remembered the night and let the tears run down his cheeks.
He missed Husk's comforting touch, the arms that wrapped around him and reminded him that it would always be alright. He needed that so fucking bad right then as he put the picture to the side and buried his face in his hands.
