The 'promised' day has come.

In this night, an important event shall take place at the Yasaka Estate.

A party? Nay, it shalt be a battlefield of ideals, thoughts, and hunger.

But before that...

Refurbished by Rider to accommodate his tastes. A traditional layout, just like old times.

Neat.

Rider brought a teapot. "Want some tea?"

"I will be glad to."

...

"Do you have something that you wish to report?"

There was an aftermath of a battle, taking place just outside of our apartment. Mana density in the air has stabilized to a safer level though, so it must have happened last night.

"Yes, actually..." Rider proceeds to explain in detail about what had happened that night.

.

"How unfortunate, to not be able to land the killing blow towards Berserker."

I had hoped that the two of them would perish once they were engaged in combat...

"I can do better than last night. I just need some time to improve my paltry swordsmanship." Rider disparages himself.

"Still, I am VERY delighted that you begin to rely on tricks! Honor has no place on the battlefield! *Smiles* Either you die, they die, or you both die! Hell, even in their twilight years, the samurai chaste has abandoned their code entirely!"

"*Shrugs* I see that you are as spiteful as ever, Mr. Samurai Hater. Why don't we move on from these 'past grudges' of yours?" Rider pleads.

("Die!") ("Die!") ("Die!") ("Die!")

("Die!") ("Die!") ("Die!") ("Die!")

("Die!") ("Die!") ("Die!") ("Die!")

Day by day, the voices get louder. Just like old times indeed.

"I have given the grand opportunity to make your second life miserable. Of course I will take that chance."

"Good grief... like it or not, we're in the same team so it'll be better for us to get along swimmingly. That's why, I'm not going to give up on this, Freud. I'll make this work, trust me." Rider states.

"I envy your optimism."

*Sips tea*

("Death to the radicals! Glory to the Shogunate!")
