I hurt myself again, didn't mean to, a slip of the heart, a shadow that grew, In moments of silence, a whisper of pain, a dance with the darkness, a loop on the chain.
I tread on the edges of words left unspoken, each thought a reminder, each promise now broken, the mirror reflects, a face worn and pale, caught in the cycle, I long for the trail. How do I break the spell woven tight, these threads of my sorrow, pulling me from light? With each fleeting moment, I search for release, In hopes I can find a small fragment of peace.
The clock ticks in rhythm, each second a choice, to rise from the ashes, to find my own voice, no more will I linger in shadows that bind, I'll walk toward the sunrise, leave darkness behind.
I hurt myself again, but now I can see, the power within me to finally be free, a journey unwritten, a path made anew, with
strength in my heart, I'll discover what's true.
