My Carved Path

In the days where hope once bloomed bright, I wandered amidst dreams, bathed in warm light.
You gave me your promise, a shimmering flame, a beacon of love, whispering my name.
With every glance, I felt the world shift, your laughter, a melody, a precious gift.
I was everything to you, a star in your sky, together we danced, as days drifted by.
But the winds of change blew a tempest so fierce, the fabric of trust began to tear and pierce.
You gave me hope, wrapped in silken threads, then in a moment, it unraveled, spread.
Like autumn leaves caught in a whirlwind's embrace, I found myself lost, adrift in open space.
Once cherished, I now felt like a ghost, a shadow of memories, clinging to what mattered most.
You held my heart in a gentle caress, now it lies heavy, burdened with distress.
Every promise you made, now echoes in vain, as I search through the fog for a meaning in pain.
Yet somewhere inside, buried deep in the night, a flicker of embers still fights for the light.
For even in sorrow, there's wisdom to glean, that love, once ignited, can evolve and redeem.
So I gather my fragments, piecing them slow, transforming this heartache into seeds I can sow.
Though I'm nothing now, I will rise from the tear, for the essence of love is resilient, I swear.
From ashes of loss, new paths shall arise, and although we're apart, I'll gaze at the skies.
In the tapestry woven with joy and despair, I'll find my own strength, my own rhythm, my air.
So here I stand, not merely a ghost, but rather a phoenix, ready to boast of battles once fought, of lessons learned well, for in shadows of loss, new stories can swell.
You gave me hope, then took it away, but the dawn always breaks, ushering day.
Though once I was everything, and now I am none, I'll carve out my path, for my journey's begun.
