Sammy's POV
"Make sure you sign there too!" Diana ordered as I signed the consent form for her college application. "And there!" She pointed to another page, and I shot her a glare before signing it. I've signed up to five times now!
"Done" I announced, resting on the chair comfortably. I handed the form to her, she couldn't control her excitement. Her eyes were bulging out like saucers, and her smile melted my heart. Seeing her like this always makes my mind go wild, I wonder why?
You've fallen for her!
Of course not! Battling with my conscience again.
Admit it Sam, you love Dia!
"NO!" I practically shouted out, which made Dia stare at me.
"Are you okay?" She asked, and I nodded awkwardly. "I'm so glad I'll be going to college soon! Perhaps I'll spend three years learning a course--" she blabbed on and on, but my mind was fixated on her appearance. The way she speaks, gawwwd! Her eyes, omg!!! Her pouty tiny lips, it makes me want to--
"Sammy!" she shook me out of my trance. "Are you listening to me?"
"Erhm, yeah. yeah."
"So, let's go submit the form--" Diana was interrupted.
"Sammy!" Mom called out to me, and I groaned out loud. Mom's calls are becoming frustrating lately, because it always has something to do with my wedding! I staggered downstairs with Diana and my eyes met Selena's.
Why is she always here?!!!
She stared at me, then at Diana, in a scornful manner. I rolled my eyes at her and turned to mom, "Yes mom?"
"Sammy my dear, I want you to take Selena to a jewelry shop, so she can pick some jewelries for her wedding attire".
I groaned in anger, making it obvious that I did not want to go anywhere with Selena."Why can't Selena go with you? Or her mom?"
"I have things to do at home! And as for Kanika, you know she's skeptical about this marriage"
Well I have things to do!
"Sam, do you have a problem?" Selena asked, and I couldn't help but scoff at her. What kind of question was that?
Of course I have a problem!!
"It's not like I have a problem, It's just I had plans to take Diana to her college to submit a form--"
"Right, Diana again!" Her attention diverted to Dia immediately, looking at her with contempt. I faced her, and my fist formed a ball but I controlled myself.
"What college? You applied for a college for this maid? " Mom retorted. Immediately I shot her a dirty stare.
How dare she call my Dia a maid?!
" Diana is not a maid mom, so becareful what you say! " I outbursted without thinking. Mom gasped and stared at me, then her eyes was fixed on Diana, giving her a death stare. Dia gave me a slight nudge on my elbow and I looked down to face her. She gave me a look that read, "What do you think you're doing?! "
I took a deep breath and decided to say something reasonable, "What I mean is, just because she's a maid doesn't mean you have to say that all the time! I mean, taking her to college is my way of paying her!"
"Why don't you pay her with money? Isn't that what you pay other servants?" Selena sputtered, "Or is there something special about Diana?" She asked, emphasizing on the word, "special".
"Look Selena, I have other things to do, so if you still want to go to the jewelry store, make it snappy!" I glared at her, and her mouth formed an 'O'
She's really annoying me lately! Ugh!
"Let's go Dia!" I grabbed Diana's hand.
"Where are you two going?" Mom asked, eyeing both of us up and down.
"Mom, I'm taking Diana to college! If Sely wants to visit the jewelry store, she can accompany us. If not, Dia and I are leaving!" I pulled Dia, leading her out, while Selena quickly grabbed her purse and followed us.
I took one glance at mom's face, she was still looking at Diana. I don't care what she thinks of Dia, her opinions don't matter!
***†***
We walked into the jewelry store, Selena scanned the entire place before pulling my arm, "Sam, let's check that aisle" she insisted and giggled, trying to act cute!Ew!
Suddenly, she wrapped her arm around mine, to make it seem like we're a happy couple shopping for jewelries. I loosened her arm from mine, which made her face turn red. I rolled my eyes at her and looked for Dia. I looked behind me, and she was just standing there, trying not to interrupt Sely and I.
She doesn't have to act like a third wheel! She's not a third wheel!!
I grabbed her hand and pulled her forward, she was hesitant. Selena just kept doing what she does best, shooting dirty stares at my Dia--- I mean at Diana.
"Go on, don't waste my time please!" I said to Selena, staring at my watch and tapping my foot impatiently. She growled and started shopping for necklaces. As we shopped, Selena bumped into someone accidentally, making her purse and the person's phone fall flat on the tiled floor.
"Oh my, can't you see where you're going?!" she spat, rudely!
"Sely, calm down!" I cautioned her.
The person she bumped into happened to be a man, thank God! If it was a woman, she'd have talked back to Sely, causing a fight. The man kept staring at her, while she ranted. He stared at her in a weird way, like he was trying to recognize her.
"Selena?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and letting out a chuckle. Selena eyed him, "What?"
"You're Selena, right? Selena Rathore?" He asked.
"So?" Selena asked rudely, her hand on her waist.
"It's me, Ha--"
"Harry?" Diana cut him, pointing at him with a smile on her face. He stared back at Diana and yelled, "Diana?!!" with a smile. Before I knew it, they were hugging.
Who's this guy?! Scoff!
Selena was also shocked, she stared at the guy and recognized him.
"Harry?!" She called out, pushing Diana away and hugging him. It seemed like "everybody" knows Harry! *scoff* it's not like he's some celebrity! I stood there oblivious, watching Selena, Diana and Harry reunite!
Who's this guy? And how does he know Selena and my Dia?!!
