I woke up feeling lightheaded and sore. My vision was blurry for a while, but later cleared up. "Sam? Avi?" I muttered under my breath, trying to sit up.

"No no, don't do that" Sam scolded, urging me to lay back down. I looked at my surrounding, realizing I was in a hospital.

"What happened? How did I get here?"

"It's a long story. I'm just glad you're fine" Avi responded softly.

"It was just a small accident, you'll be fine" Sam smiled at me, and squeezed my hand in his. "Despite all these, I'm actually really elated today"

"Why is that?" I asked in a teasing manner.

"Hmm. Why shouldn't I be happy?"

"So you've been crushing on me secretly?" I teased with a grin dancing on my lips. Sammy's cheeks turned red; he looked fluttered.

"Oooo-kayyyy. I think I should give you two love birds some privacy" Avi teased with a wink before heading out.

"Thank God." A slight chuckle escaped his lips and he scratched his head in embarrassment. "Yes, I've been crushing on you secretly. You've also been crushing on me, right?"

Now I was fluttered.

" Erm, it's nothing like that---"

"Oh really? Aren't you one cute sneaky brat" he poked my nose playfully. "Our wedding will be planned soon!! Thank goodness I've got things sorted out. And I'm glad Selena is out of my life. She better not show her face to me, else I'll throw her in jail for attacking you. And mom, she......"

I zoned out.

Suddenly I felt dizzy. It was like everything around me was spinning rapidly. My head was aching and I felt nauseous, all at the same time.

Blackout!

Sammy's POV

"Dia? Dia?" I called out, panicking

"Dia? Dia?" I called out, panicking. "Doctor!!!"
The doctor rushed into the ward and asked me what happened to Dia. I explained everything, and I was asked to step out of the ward. The doctor started performing some tests while the nurse ushered me out.

I felt devasted!

I went back to the waiting room where Avi and Ryan were at.

"What happened??" They both cornered me and attacked me with questions. I collapsed on a chair and cried my eyes out. It was embarrassing, but I didn't care. The love I have for Dia is beyond measure. I've never cried for anyone before, not even my mom.

"Sammy, what's wrong with my sister?" Avi cried out in a croaked tone.

"I don't... "

"Is she alright?" a familiar voice interrupted me. I looked up at the person, it was Selena.

I abruptly stood up and aimed to attack her, but Ryan held me back. "What do you think you're doing here?" I yelled at her, while she shuddered in fear. It must have been frightening for her, because she has never seen my rage. This was the first time I felt so mad.

"Get out! Just get lost!" I continued yelling at her.

"Sam my boy, control yourself. " Mr Rathore scolded, standing next to Selena. "I forced her to come here. What she did was wrong, so she's here to clear things up."

"How exactly is she going to do that? Huh? She better keep this in mind, if anything wrong HAPPENS to MY DIA, I will personally end things... for good!"

"S-Sam.. "

"Don't you dare utter my name!"

Just then, the doctor walked in. I rushed over to him and questioned him continuously.

He sighed deeply, "Mr Oberoi, we're trying our best to keep her safe, but she isn't responding to any of our treatments. Unfortunately, she lost a lot of blood and we need a donor."

"What? Just get some blood from the blood bank!" I yelled at him impatiently.

"We are out of blood. Her blood group is O+, and we're out."

I paced back and forth with my hand on my head, cracking my brain for a solution. "Where do I find a donor?"

"Here." I turned to look at who said that, it was Mr Rathore. "I'm O+"

"Really? Sir please..." I began to plead but he stopped me.

"There's no need for that son, I'm not heartless. I've made a lot of mistakes in life, it's time to do something right. Let's go doc, I'll donate blood for Diana."

"Dad? Are you for real? There's no way I'll let you donate blood for her, just let her die so that my life can be peaceful again!" Selena blurted.

I held myself back and restrained from doing something I might regret. But thank God Mr Rathore knew how to caution his child. He slapped Selena across the face and scolded her.

"I brought you here to make things right, but I can see you'll never change!" He yelled at her.

Selena held onto her cheek in disbelief. Tears gathered her eyes, "D-Dad--"

"Just get out! I made a mistake by bringing you along and I don't want to waste any more time on you. Let's go doctor."

Thirty minutes later, Mr Rathore came out of the ward with a bandaged arm, accompanied by a nurse.

"Thank you sir, this really means alot. I'm sorry for betraying your trust and hurting your daughter."

"All is well son. I see my daughter isn't worth it now." He gave Selena a dirty look while she stood still quietly.

After sometime, the doctor came out with the results and he looked happy.

"Doctor, how is she?" I asked.

"There's nothing to worry about. She's responding to the treatment now."

"Thank you Almighty " Avi prayed.

"Thank you doctor."

"Oh, Mr Rathore?" The doctor called out to him.

"Yes?"

"Your tests results are really interesting. We went through it and discovered something. Here check it out for yourself." The doctor handed an envelope to Mr Rathore.

He opened the envelope and read the results quietly to himself. His eyes widened in shock.

"What does it say dad?" Selena asked, intrigued.

"Sir, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Diana. She-She-She's..." he stammered, shaking intensely.

"She's what?"

"...my child.." he confessed and the paper he held fell out of his hands due to shock.
