Julian's POV:

"You're a dumb fuck, Jules" Nick said from behind me, overhearing the conversation I was having with Nikolai. "You had the girl right there locked into the fucking bathroom completely willing to do it. It's not like you haven't gotten laid in worst scenarios, am I right?"

I put my feet on the table, looking at the mute TV and took a sip from my beer. Tim Burton's Batman was on.

"Yeah, but it's no.. It's not the same" I replied trying to concentrate in both things.

"Of course it's not, dude! You're all concerned about becoming your dad and shit, but he was 41 when he had that affair with the model. You're fucking 24!" Nick walked up to us standing in front of the TV, so I couldn't help but give him a look.

"You don't usually like girls, so you're creating excuses to not allow yourself to like her" Niko spoke up with his unnecessary wisdom.

"What's up guys?" Fab came into the apartment carrying 4 pizzas and Albert followed behind. "Why the fuck
is Batman on mute, man?!"

"Julian is creating excuses" Nick said.

"Julian is creating excuses?" Fab asked dropping the pizzas on the floor.

"Julian is creating excuses!" Nick yelled smiling.

"Julian is creating excuses!" Both of them started singing and dancing folklore around the pizza. A "what the fuck" escaped under my breath but we all just usually ignored them when they did this nonsense kind of things. Albert approached to me.

"Are you alright?" I turned the TV off and moved so he could sit on the couch with me. I tried to block the noise the rest of the guys were doing, except Niko who picked up the pizzas and started slicing them.

"Yeah, I'm cool, I just.. I'm worried" I confessed.

"About what?"

"About.. myself I think. I know I'm not actually good, but I'm not being able to fix it.. and-"

"What do you mean you're not good?" Albert asked cutting me off.

"I.." Suddenly I remembered talking is not worth it. Everyone pretends to understand what you're saying because they think talking is good for you, but they don't really understand what you're saying, so what's the whole point seriously? "Nevermind, I'm fine"

"I got her number, Jules" Albert smiled.

"Mika's?" I asked surprised. He nodded and handed me a paper with a number written on it with black marker. The excitement didn't last long, what the fuck was I supposed to say to her?

"How did you get it?"

"Nick went out with her friend and bla bla. Enough talk, call her right now, let's go" he said and handed me the telephone.

"I don't know, it's been a week. She probably hates me, man."

"Alright, then you got nothing to lose" I knew he would say that. Albert you fucker.

"Fine.." I gave in with a sigh as I dialed the number and waited for the tone. "It's ringing" I announced.

Albert was staring at me and it made me nervous, so I stood up and went into my room, closing the door behind me.

"Hello..?" Someone picked up. A woman. Shit.

"Uh, hello, good..." Fuck I didn't know what time it was... I checked my watch quickly, 17:51. "Good afternoon, is Mika there?"

"Yes, who's calling?" It was probably her mother.

"Um, Jul- Julian"

"Alright, hold on" the voice answered after a long pause. "You'll have to wait, she's locked herself in her bathroom with a long haired young boy" what.
