King Arthur's POV:
I gently laid Tia's dying body on the floor, watching her decay before my very eyes.
She was weak, frail, and afraid... Unable to save herself, her strengths rendered useless.
A silent tear rolled down her cheek as she stared up at me, pleading for help.
I didn't know what to do.
Crumbling onto my knees, I shielded my eyes with one hand, looking away from her.
"What is it, Arthur?" Addison's voice sneered in my head, sinister and cold. "Can't take a couple losses? It's not like you've ever won anything, so..."
I was beyond the point of tears.
My body tensed up, my heart pounding in my chest and threatening to break out of my rib cage.
Tia was dead, her best friend was dead, and my son was a monster...
Am I going insane, or what?
I sure felt like it in the moment.
"Leave Tia out of this." I snarled, mustering as much anger as I could into my voice. "Don't hurt her. She's your best friend."
"Oh, I'm not really Addison, you know." The puppet of a librarian smiled, uncannily cocking her head to the side. "I'm just Secret using her body as a host... And this host radiates with power and charisma... A fairly potent pair of attributes. No wonder she had so many friends in her lifetime."
I stared down at Tia's lifeless body on the floor slowly reanimate itself, tendrils of ivy coiled tightly around her tiny form.
Backing away from the scene, I watched as the dead captain stood up, staring at me with her lifeless, dull eyes.
"Aww, cute." Secret's words came from Tia's mouth. "She saw you as a father figure. Tia loved you a lot, y'know. Too bad she won't get to feel your affection for her anymore."
I absolutely lost it.
Swinging my sword with a strikingly powerful force, the world around me became a bright red blur.
I was a hurricane fueled by sheer rage, slicing through the enemy and sending up waves of icy shards flying into the air.
Stars danced in my vision as I knew that I was being hit as well, with several tendrils grabbing me at once to try to get control of my body.
Luckily, my royal clothing was too slick for them to get a hold of.
The battlefield was a canvas painted over with splashes of crimson, cobalt, and emerald as I continued fighting, barely holding back my fury.
This form of liquidation was not of my doing, but a more primal force inside of me.
After seeing the daughter I never had perish before my eyes, I couldn't take it anymore.
I completely broke.
My sword cut through Tia's body like butter, severing her in half.
However, she was still being used, capable of using her frostbreath on me.
Because of her ridiculously good aim, she managed to hit me and strike me unconscious with a single shot.
As I felt myself slowly freeze to death, I could only pray that everyone else survived... And that Tia's soul would be in peace.

To my surprise, I woke up to the feeling of warmth on my skin.
