"As if we're close? Mag-ask ka sa friend niya instead of me. " Zeina rolled her eyes and leaned back on the chair.
I kept on checking my phone. Ni isang reply wala.
Ano kayang sinabi nitong spoiled brat na'to. I looked at her when I heard her phone clicked. She smirked.
"I mean if you're torpe then suffer the consequences. It's that easy. " She chuckled as if it's very funny. Hindi man lang ako natawa.
When I glared at her and remained silent then she heave a sigh and her shoulders sagged.
"What did you tell her last time you went to school? May inabot ka pa talaga. Baka akala no'n may gusto ka sa'kin, " I said straightforwardly.
She scoffed as if she was scandalized. "My God? I didn't know she'd think that way? I told her to tell you we're on the same page, right? Ayaw ko ring makasal sa'yo noh, panget mo nga, mas gwapo pa iyong crush ko, eh!" Nag-explain na nga lang nang-insulto pa talaga, sarap din busalan ng bibig ng spoiled na'to.
"You're so damned. If you have feelings for her why not confess? What are you so afraid of?"
Our topic went on until she groaned like she's very frustrated at something.
I arched a brow because of curiosity, kanina pa kasi siya bothered habang pinag-uusapan namin kung bakit ako iniiwasan ni Eryna.
"Uhm. . . huwag mo akong i-judge." She trailed.
"Pwede bang magtanong? Matalino ka naman. . . sa math." She chuckled a little.
"Ask away,"
Tumayo siya at lumapit sa akin. Pinakita niya ang phone. I saw picture of an arm, hindi ko alam kung kaninong braso at bakit sobrang bothered niya. Oh, anong meron?
"Look at it kasi," Nilapit niya sa mukha ko.
May nakasulat sa braso, it was sin θ/cos θ.
"He said, it's not summer yet, but I've had a tan. What's the connection of that? I didn't get it. Hindi naman siya umitim, maputi nga e. " She frustratedly spat and frowned.
I barked a laughter. I laughed and Zeina just glared at me. The hell, that's so mean.
And. . . I had to explain that to her.
Sometimes if we're together our topic is all about Eryna, our family's expectations, and of course we talk about how to save each other's ass if they force us to really marry.
I literally see her as a little sister, that's so damned. When dad checks on me, I kept on holding my breath not to utter words he doesn't like. .
I don't want Eryna to suffer in her thoughts that my family doesn't want her, ayaw kong masyado siyang nag-iisip.
"Your tuition—" My dad looked like he he's very stressed.
"I'm paying it dad. I didn't use your money though."
"Why do you have to do that? It's my responsibility to—" Namumuti na ang buhok niya at hindi man lang makangiti, I feel like there's something going on.
