Epilogue - III

"Huwag ka sabi magpapagutom, mahal." Eryna smiled sweetly at me as she comes inside my office, she cooked us some food. Ang sarap lagi ng niluluto niya.

Lumamlam ang titig ko sa kanya. I stood from my office chair for an anticipated hug from her. Sinalubong ko siya ng halik sa noo at tungki ng kanyang ilong.

"What did you cook today?" Nangingiti kong tanong nang kinuha ang lunch box na dala niya.

Gusto ko sanang huwag na siyang paglutuin pero mapilit at gusto ko namang magpa-alaga kaya hindi na ako humindi.

"Fried shrimp, hehe." She chuckled cutely and went beside me to open our lunch. I chuckled and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you, sit down na, I'll peel the skin for you."

"Nabalatan ko na," She smiled cutely. Nang mabuksan ko, nabalatan na nga lahat. I stifled a smile, ang sarap namang magmahal ng mahal kong 'yan.

"I made us avocado shake." She added.

"Nasa hydroflask." She's very excited everytime she cooks for us. Pero kapag nasa bahay kami, ako ang nagluluto.

"Switzerland, love. I promise if ever there's an opportunity for us to get a project together, I'll grab it. " Nakakandong siya sa akin, matutulog na sana kami but we agreed to have small talks before going to sleep, that way, we'll be able to strengthen our relationship.

"Let's work harder, tumama ang hininga niya sa leeg ko, she's sleepy and her voice were almost whisper.

I chuckled. "Tired ka na? Sleep na tayo?" She nodded.

"Kiss for a minute before going to bed." She giggled and damn she always has that soft spot in my heart.

Antok na siya pero nanghihingi pa talaga ng kiss. I shook my head to hide my smirk. She can get really naughty you know.

We kissed for a moment and then went straight to bed. Ang bilis niyang nakatulog, napagod kasi 'yan. I smiled to myself, ang cute ng pisngi, medyo mabilog at mapula pa, ang sarap pisilin.

I bit my lower lip, nakatitig ako habang nakahiga kaming dalawa. She scrunched her nose and her brows furrowed, marahan kong hinilot ang kilay niya para i-relax ang ekspresyon, she calmed down.

Tss, cute. Hayop.

"We're slowly achieving our dreams." She trailed.

"Congratulations my love! Happy 11th anniversary, my baby!" She even popped a party popper. I chuckled so cute.

My hands found its way to snake on her waist. I pulled her for a hug. Tumingala siya sa akin.

"Close your eyes, I have a gift."

I was frustratedly looking for the beeping noise around or is it just in my head? May naririnig akong ingay pero madilim ang paligid. I feel my body's exhaustion and I can't even lift a finger.

When I opened my eyes, I expected to see Eryna. . . not the worried faces of my family. I blinked twice, I thought it was the fast kind of blink but instead it was the tired one. The one that deserves to close again.

Nag-iiyakan ang lahat ng nasa paligid. I saw Brayan beside me, displaying a serious face as he silently watch our family getting emotional. He's holding himself together.

Masakit ang tenga ko sa ingay nila. Babangon sana ako pero mabilis kong napagtanto kung bakit hindi ako makagalaw. What happened? I wanted to ask them what's happening but my voice won't come out.

I blinked realizing what could've happened. . . natulog lang kami ni Eryna kagabi, anong nangyayari? Nasaan siya?

Then I saw a doctor enter the room. Ngayon ko lang napagtantong wala ako sa kwarto. Nasaan ako? My eyes wandered around, ang hirap dahil limitado lang ang nakikita ko but why the fuck am I in a bed with a lot of tubes and monitors? Anong nangyayari?
