Me and Zain get back at the compound, and I slam the Piece of Adam onto the table.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS YOU THINKING?!" I yells.
"I was trying to protect you." Zain says back calmly.
"NO WITH THE OSEDIAN!"
"Huh? With the Osedian? Nikki, this is the only thing we have to kill Dante. Unless, the god and goddess has some Osedian up their fucking sleeves!" Zain snap back with just a little bit of anger.
"Zain, come with me." Says Erebus placing a hand on my shoulder.
With a swish of his hand he a portal had opened, and he walked through it.
"Go and run from your problems again then! That's what you're good at!"
Zain stops like he is going to say something but carried on walking.
"Nikki, stop. You're angry. You don't mean what you're saying."
"Nyx, you don't understand the pressure and stress Zain gives me! I'm way past stress with him! But I still love him!"
"I know you do, Nikki. But it's only love that makes you stronger."
I hope he realises that even through arguments, I will love him.
"We have the Ida Sword. We need to get the other weapons."
"The last place I knew where a pistol was in the Assassin Compound."
"Wait, the Assassin Compound?"
I show Nyx a picture of the pistol.
"This pistol?"
"Yeah, it's dangerous. Wait- is that Zain?"
"Haan."
Nyx gives me a look that I have seen before.
"What?"
"When a direct blood from an Ida has a Piece of Adam, they're basically unstoppable."
"You're saying someome who's a blood relative of the Ida and who has the Piece of Adam they're strong as fuck?"
"Yes."
