I woke up to some movement in the bed.
Nate is up and stretches, he turns back and looks at me "sorry, I didn't mean to wake you" he says.
"Don't worry" I lightly smile.
I look down and realize I wasn't in the same clothes from last night "didn't want you to catch a cold, so I changed your shirt and pants" he says.
I nod and smile.
"Hey about last night" he starts. "Are you okay, I mean when I came to your house I was told you didn't want to see me and then when-" I cut him off.
"You came to my house?" I question confused.
"Yeah and renae opened the door with a terrible attitude and basically said you didn't want to see me and to go fuck off" he says confused.
I groan.
"What's wrong" he asks.
"She never told me you came by, I should've known something was up when she slammed the door angrily saying it was a mailman" I pinch the bridge of my nose.
"She can for sure slam a door" nate raises his eyebrows.
"My bedroom used to be right next door, she made things in my room fall of tables and walls" I sigh and shake my head.
He chuckles a bit.
"Talia is everything okay with you" he asks.
"Yeah it'll be fine" I shrug him off.
"No I mean the way you came back yesterday, you seemed off not to mention your crying" he says a but worried.
"Yeah I just realized I shouldn't have shut you out the way i did" I lie.
"C'mon breakfast is downstairs" he senses my discomfort.
Lying to him didn't feel good to be honest.
I mean how am I supposed to tell him something that I couldn't even process.
"Morning love birds" lola smiles while toping her pancake tower with whipped cream.
"Morning" I lightly smile.
"Where is everyone else" I ask only seeing Dante and Kristen.
"Lori is asleep, angelo is doing angelo things and I think Chris (Christina) headed to the gym" she says pouring maple syrup everywhere.
"Talia hunny I'm so happy you decided to come back, I know how nate can be sometimes" she gives him the motherly look.
Nate avoids her gaze as he grabs a few pieces of bacon.
I smile and go make my plate.
