Chapter 2: Making Diamond's Move

Diamond and his younger brother Sapphire went to hide in the bush and found Serena alone in the street reading her book.

"There she is, Diamond! Now it's your chance!" Sapphire whispered to him.

Diamond smirked. "Here goes my move." Then he smoothly approached her and greeted her, acting too kind to her. "Hello, Serena."

Serena gave him an annoying look. "Ugh, what do you want now, Diamond?"

"Whatcha reading over there?" Diamond asked as he snatched the book from her.

"Hey, give it back! It's mine!" Serena shouted at him, trying to get her book back.

"How can you read these? There's no pictures." Diamond teased her.

She glared at him as she folded her arms together. "Well, some people use their imagination."

"Serena, it's about time you got your head out of those books and paid attention to more important things. Like me." With that, Diamond threw the book into the puddle, which angered Serena. The girls let out an exclaim in excitement, which annoyed Serena a lot.

"Diamond! Why you!?" Serena growled in rage as she was about to unleash her power.

"The school and the whole town were talking about it. It's not right for a woman to read soon she starts getting more ideas." Diamond said.

"Diamond, you are positive primary evil!" Serena shouted at his face as she picked her book up and cleaned it.

"Why, thank you, Serena. What do you say you and me go out for a date?" Diamond said, smirking. When he wrapped his left arm around her shoulders, pulling her close to him. This was getting worse with Serena.

"That's it!" That was the last straw for her, Serena unleashed her father's power and punched Diamond in the face. After that, she kneeled and punched him in the nuts just like her father Johnny Cage does a lot to people when he gets into a fight.

He let out a groan in pain as he collapsed. He was dealing with the pain he was in as Sapphire came out of the bush and had to help him comfort the pain.

"Sorry, Diamond, but I don't go out with jerks like you. Right now, I am going home and helping my father." Serena said, glaring at him.

"You mean that faker father of yours?" Sapphire asked, rolling his eyes in annoyance.

"Hey! My father is not a faker! So don't talk to him that way! If I heard you two talking crap about him, I'll do the same thing with Diamond!" Serena shouted at them.

"Y-Yes, ma'am..." Sapphire and Diamond said, scared of Serena's wrath.

Then Serena smiled at them before leaving. "Good."

When Serene left, Sapphire sighed as he had to help his brother out. "Way to go, Diamond. I told you many times she is out of your league."

"S-Shut up! It wasn't my fault!" Diamond grunted still in pain.
