Beauty and the Shaolin Zombie // Liu Kang x Usagi [COMPLETED]

Chapter 18: The Chase

"Where are you going!?" Kung Lao asked, worried about what Liu Kang had done this time as he watched Serena running away.

As she reached the door, Serena gave Kung Lao a sorrowful look one last time. "Promise or no promise, I can't stay here another minute!"

"Serena! Don't leave! Please!" Nightwolf pleaded with her.

"Serena, wait! You can't go out there! You don't know what was out there!" Kung Lao warned her, but Serena didn't listen.

When she left the castle, she started to run away and didn't hesitate to look back. When Serena was escaping, she was confronted by a pack of zombie wolves.

At first, she gasped when she saw the zombie wolves approaching her. These zombie wolves reminded her of Cerberus from the movie called Resident Evil. She remembered watching that with her dad. He, of course, used to play as the villain named Albert Wesker.

The zombie leaped at her, but Serena quickly kicked them in the face. Thanks to her parents and her master Raiden who taught. So Serena kept fighting the zombie wolves with her martial arts skills.

When she finished them off, Serena felt relief. "You get Caged."

Unfortunately, there are more coming. Serena was too exhausted fighting them. Before she was eaten by them, however, Liu Kang intervened and saved her, but was wounded by the wolves in the process.

He collapsed to the ground, exhausted. Serena was about to leave him, but she couldn't. She was feeling bad for leaving him there, so Serena quickly took Liu Kang back to the castle to get his injuries fixed. Though he is still a zombie, he cannot be fixed. But snitches would help out. It would leave the scar forever.
