Chapter 6: Rejecting Diamond

Serena was busy sweeping the stairs of the Sky Temple with the broomstick while wearing her priestess robe. Just when she was done, she was approached by Diamond... again. And, oh boy, she doesn't look too happy seeing him again.

"Why, hello, Serena," Diamond greeted, grinning. His smile made her feel uncomfortable.

"Ugh, what now, Diamond!?" Serena said in annoyance.

"I was wondering if you would like to go out with me," Diamond said. He wrapped his right arm around her shoulders and pulled her close to him.

"I told you many times I don't want to go out with you! Why do you always keep showing up and asking me out on a date!? When will you ever stop!?" Serena scolded him.

"Oh, come on, Serena. I know that you like me." Diamond said, smirking playfully.

"And I don't like you, anyway. Now leave!" So Serena pushed him away and stormed into the temple, leaving Diamond outside of the stairs of the Sky Temple.

Sapphire walked up to him and said, "Gosh, Diamond. No wonder you're bad at wooing Serena."

"Then how would I get Serena to like me?" He asked, trying to find away to make her fall in love with him.

Then Sapphire came up with an idea. "I know! I got an idea."

Diamond, determined to marry Serena, arranged an entire wedding right outside her house, foolishly expecting her to accept out of the blue. It was because of Sapphire's idea. Sapphire thinks Serena will be in for the surprise of her life. Diamond then knocked on the door. When she checked who it was, Serena became furious after seeing Diamond in her front porch.

"Not again..." Serena groaned before she let him in. "What do you want now?"

"Serena, I was thinking if you would change your mind to marry me instead of being your boyfriend. So what do you say? Wanna be my wife?" Diamond said, flirting with her.

She blinked in shock. "What!?"

"Don't act so surprising, Serena. We would be spending the rest of our lives together, so we would be happy." Diamond said. Then Diamond had regretted by proposing her when he saw Serena's wrath.

"Are you kidding me, Diamond!? I will never marry you! I rejected you many times when you keep harassing me and flirting with me at school! If you kindly must leave or I will kick you out of the house by myself!" Serena shouted at him.

"You're bluffing," Diamond said nervously.

Serena let out an evil smirk when he regretted the words he said to her again. "Am I?"

Then Serena turned him down by kicking him out of the house, resulting in Diamond falling into a giant mud pond, leaving him furious and humiliated.

Serena couldn't help but laughing at seeing Diamond. "Sorry, but I just don't deserve to be your wife. Next time when you come into my house again, I'll have my dad beat you up for this since he doesn't like you as well."

"So... how did it go?" Sapphire nervously asked, seeing his brother like this.

Then Diamond grabbed Sapphire's collared shirt, "I'll have Serena my wife! Make no mistake!"

Then Diamond threw Sapphire into a giant mud pond and stormed off.
