Diamond soon found the depressed zombie Liu Kang in the West Wing. He aimed at him with an arrow, didnt surprise Liu Kang. He only gave him a depressed look as he looked away. Then he shot him in the back, causing him to moan in pain.
Diamond pushed Liu Kang out of the balcony, causing the window to shatter. They were having q battle outside in the rain, where Diamomd taunted Liu Kang for his feelings to Serena.
"What's the matter, zombie? Too kind and gentle to fight back?" Diamond questioned him with a grinning look.
He didn't reply. He was feeling weak and heartbreak.
So Diamond took the sword and about to behead him, they heard a voice calling out to them.
"No!" It was Serena, making Liu Kang's eyes widen.
"Serena...!?"
When he saw Serena return to the castle, he found the strength to defend himself against Diamond. He overpowered Diamond and threatened to drop his evil enemy off the rooftops, but he became merciful and relented.
"Get out." With that, Liu Kang dropped him.
Serena made it in time to see Liu Kang alright. "Liu Kang!"
"Serena! You came back!" As the fallen Chosen One attempted to reunite with Serena, he got stabbed in the back by Shinnok in his corrupt form.
Serena watched in horror. "Liu Kang!"
